Q: Is the bottom smooth or will it scratch a wooden surface?

A: I would add felt stickers on the bottom. They come in white to blend in with the marble and would insure not to scratch on any surface. I use these on many items to prevent scratches on furniture ,granite or marble countertops. If target doesn’t have them they can be found at Home Depot.

You could go to Williams Sonoma and spend $100 or you can buy this at Target and no one will know that difference. It is beauful and sits right next to some W-S marble. I am so glad I decided to go cheap this time!

Wooo!! This product did not hold up. Very bummed because I loved the look of it on my island to keep napkins available but tidy. I picked it up and fell apart in my hands.

I really loved this napkin holder, but like similar comments, it fell apart within 2 weeks. We picked it up to pass a napkin, and one side came unglued. I had to return it, and am so bummed because I loved the look of it.

Beautiful. Build quality is poor. It didn't last a few months of very low usage. Like so many others, picking it up caused the weak glue to come undone and leave the product in two unusable pieces. Now I will need to spend as much or more to repair the item compared to the cost new.
