Q: How do you put hand soap into the dispenser?

A: I am able to answer my own question. The dispenser is so well made that the top appeared to be attached when all is needed is to twist the bottom ring at the top of the dispenser to the right and remove the top.

A: It is plastic, but have had it in our bathroom for what seems like forever with no issues at all. Very good quality. Looks like new, functions perfectly with soap, shampoo or lotion.

A: I wouldn't put any part of it in the dishwasher. Considering it normally holds soap, just soaking it in water works for me.

I chose this soap dispenser just because it had a larger nozzle. Most soap dispensers have very narrow nozzles which always get clogged and then soap sprays everywhere - except in your hands. This dispenser has a nice weight to it and it even has little rubber pads on the bottom so it won’t scratch your countertop. I would expect other stores would charge double this price. $15 is a deal. It is a nice quality product.

I have no problem with the pump. However, as soon as soap was put in it, the ring around the base of the metal (where it meets the marble) turned green and the soap has green streaks in it when it comes out. Something in the metal oxidizes with soap. It is hard to believe you are getting clean when the some comes out "dirty."

Saw this in store and really liked it. Wish I would have read the other reviews. Like every one else is commenting, the pump tarnishes very quickly. Would not recommend. The base is great quality, heavy, and looks very nice. Just need to improve the pump.

Nice product so far, the marble is very pretty. I initially thought the package had arrived cracked, but I think/hope it is just the marble design. The only thing I noticed is that the pump is a little loose, but it has not caused any issues so far. I haven’t had any issues with rusting like many of the other reviews mentioned, but it has only been a week.

The marble is very nice and heavy. I do wish they improved the quality of the pump a bit and just charged a bit more for it. The pump feels quite cheap and I'm concerned about how long before it breaks.
