Gorgeous, but awful.
Where do I begin? This rug has been so much drama. I ordered it twice. The first time, it arrived with a huge slash in the back. I returned it to the store and reordered it. The second rug was fine, no cut. But after just 2 weeks of light use, the surface began to develop a fine spiderweb-like coating where the fibers were interlocking. Little bits of everything would get stuck in this fibrous layer and it was looking just terrible. All the pretty texture was completely matted. I've owned many rugs in the last 15 years, some of them 10 or more years old and never once have I had a rug look this bad - EVER. Even after tons and tons of use. So, this rug is for you if you just want to LOOK at a pretty rug, but actually use it. I've included 3 pictures. 1 of the cut, 1 of the rug when new, and a close up of what the worn area looked like compared with a new area that was under a couch.
