Q: Can’t a robber just purchase this same lock to get the keys and use the keys to unlock the person who has the same lock to steal the bike?

A: Locks sold at retailers are sold in bulk and have a limited amount of key numbers, which means that there is a possibility of keys open other locks. Long story short. They took there sweet time to get my bike lock. So its very frutstrating because my bike us unlocked out waiting to be stolen cause they decide they cant get it from the cart and give lt to me.

Seems sturdy, but mine came with the wrong nut for one of the screws, so I had to go buy the right one before the latch on the mounting bracket really worked. Not sure how that got past QA...

I liked this lock when I first saw it. It vibes with both a cable and a U Lock. It's also a trusted brand and uses keys so you don't have to worry about a combination. Price was just $20.

Lock mechanism is terrible. Key jammed and broke after 2 months. Takes 60-90 seconds to lock/unlock bike. Poor quality, avoid.

I’ve had this lock for over a year now and it still works just fine. I unfortunately already lost one of its keys so that sucks but it works well to deter thieves even in NYC. Buying another one for my new e-bike to assist another lock on it and hope that works out.

This lock is SUPER wobbly (connection of U to the lock). The part that holds the lock to the frame when the lock is not in use is horrible and not easy to install so that it’s not loose (the nuts are hard to get tight enough because they made the space inset so hard to get tools close enough in). Overall, fail. Would not recommend.

I got this only a couple of weeks ago. Already it is broken. I locked my bike up and now both of the keys can’t open it. Gonna have to call someone to cut the lock
