I bought this because I used this brands purple conditioner and shampoo and it made my hair soft and smell good. but I ran out and decided to try this one. it made my hair SO dry and brittle I wouldn't recommend

Not good for sensitive scalp
I used both the shampoo and conditioner. First time I used it my scalp got itchy. The second time I broke out all over my scalp. I had to stop using this product. Just FYI if you have sensitive skin.

LOVE the smell of this shampoo ! It leaves my hair smelling good even after rinsing it out ! I love how it cleanses my hair without making it feel dry ! The moisture is DEFINITELY there ! Ima. Fan of flaxseeds anyway and this shampoo does not disappoint ! Love the packaging also it’s cute and the shape of the bottle is different than other typical shampoos ! I have thick 2C hair and this product didn’t make my waves worse but didn’t make them better. The smell is really nice and it lasts in your hair, and the packaging is really pretty and easy to get out. If I find one made for my hair type and that helps with frizz and curls I will definitely try it!

Great smell - horrible results
Ugh I LOVE the smell and the fact that it has clean ingredients. I’ve used both the shampoo and conditioner multiple times and I was so confused why all of a sudden my hair was getting so tangled during the wash and MORE HAIR than usual coming out. EEEEEK! Never using it again I have wavy/curly hair and this was not for me. Tangled my hair up! And lost some hair 😢

Scent is a nice, earthy, light, expensive spa kind of smell but it fades away pretty much as your hair dries. Lathers well, rinses easily and hair felt clean. Overall good quality shampoo even though it didn’t seem to have any impact either way on my wavy/frizzy hair.

Made my hair more dry than normal and caused flakes
This shampoo felt like it wasn't properly cleansing my scalp. I started flaking after no more than 2 weeks of use. I've stopped using it since, but my hair still isn't back to normal. I have curly/wavy hair, so I thought this would be a good try since it said lightweight and some other curly hair shampoos leave my hair oily, but this shampoo felt the same like the others, if not worse.

I picked this up because I used the "purple version of hair mask & shampoo" & loved it & this said; "gentle" so I thought it would help my wavy / curls from my natural hair but this shampoo makes my hair sooo shiny I get comments about my hair how "it looks so unwashed"..I only used this shampoo & a mask less than a minute & on the baby ends of my hair. I wouldn't buy this again but; I am curious about the other "Maui Moisture" products, im really excited to try !

Great for Fine, Wavy Hair
I've I've n using this for a couple of weeks and really like it for my hair type which is fine, wavy hair that gets greasy at the roots. I don't feel like it weights down my scalp too much but provides a gentle clean without drying. I follow with the conditioner and it does feel like it has been strengthening my hair and bringing out my waves more.

Not a good product
The shampoo works ok. Hair feels good when you rinse it out but the conditioner seems to be drying. Hair feels like straw after using. Also kinda difficult to get out of the bottle as well. Also noticed scalp gets oily which is not the norm for me.
