Something happened with ours and the sound played for 24 hours straight until we took the batteries out to reset it…. So the batteries that come with it are nice and strong lol. That hasn’t happened again! Well made toy to add to our kids play tool collection

My 4 year old little girl can carey it around easily and pretend to help mom and dad with yard chores! It came assembled already so that was a plus! It easily extends and the head also moves position and lights up whe pressing the button, it also makes noise which my daughter finds very cool! It is a cool little toy!

The blades light up neon green and can be played with in the dusk/dark too. It makes a noise just like a real string trimmer. It is super light weight, easy to push the button to start and looks real :)

My one year-old also loves to play with this. It’s super well-made and durable. It’s also very lightweight and easy for my small children to carry around. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have 2 little ones .... Ones 5 1/2 and the other is 2 1/2 !! My 5 year old lost interest pretty quickly but my 2 year old loved it !! He loved everything about it .. the noise, the flashy lights when he pushed the button !! Perfect for little hands .... The weight was just right for him !! Also love how the handle can be extended as they grow !! Definitely an AWESOME well thought out toy !! He hasn't put it down since we received it !! Besides for bedtime !! Lol ...Definitely a win win for the 2 year old !! He loves going outside to help daddy in the yard ( the lights do not work outside ... Must be because it's to bright or something but no biggie ) they worked again once we came inside !! I noticed the age on the John Deere Weed Trimmer was for ages 5+ but I definitely think it should be for 2 1/2 + or 3+ .... The age suggestion should definitely be lowered in my opinion!! Both my son and daughter enjoyed playing with it and loved the light up features on the "blades" at the bottom. It makes an authentic weed trimmer noise,but isn't too loud. My kids are 5 and 7 and I feel like this would be super fun for closer to 3, while helping a parent with lawn work outside! Its so easy to use and the end can pivot to make weed trimming easier, or at least they think they are! This is a great toy to spark imaginative play and keep kids engaged in some helpful play landscaping .

My daughter feels like a pro helping out in the yard . It makes realistic trimming sounds and even has a glowing “line” that lights up when she pulls the trigger. The build quality is surprisingly sturdy for a toy, and the ergonomics are perfect for little hands . The battery power lasts a long time ,and the subtle vibration when it’s “running” makes it feel like a real piece of machinery to a child)It really adds to the overall experience!!!

We took it out of the box and it was perfect took a pictureand then the bottom spinner and light stopped workingso now it only makes a sound a weed Wacker makes and not the rest. Maybe we got a dud. I took it apartand tried to make sure one of the wires did fall out its just broken. Pretty disappointed it didn't even last a full minute. For reference I was the only one holding it when the bottom died my kids didn't even get it in working conditionbefore it was passed over so I know it wasn't a kid wacking it on something that was the cause

Gotten as a gift for the little guy worked great for about an hour. After that the sound no longer would function on it. Great for me don't have to hear it but he's disappointed that no longer makes sound. Does in fact still spin and light
