This concealer is not of a quality that I would buy a second time. The coverage is not good; I had to put on layers, and I had to reapply often. Why did they discontinue the Superstay Concealer? It was 100% a better product!
I just bought a replacement concealer on sunday and I went to the store with the specific number and color 15 Fair. There was NO 15 Fair anymore. I purchased 15 Light and compared it to my original container-there is no way this color is going to look right on me. I'm going to return this and try to find a comparable color. Disappointing cause this was the perfect concealer.
I’ve been using this concealer religiously for years, but I’ve noticed that they’ve made shade 10 more yellow. Now, I feel like shade 5 doesn’t give coverage at all, and shade 10 is too yellow for my skin tone
It's a really nice concealer with good coverage and smooth formulae ( if you match the shadow, you can use it just on 'problematic' areas and your skin will be even). However, if you have oily skin (like me), I found it very drying (!!) and it took me time to figure this out. STILL GREAT, just make sure to properly moisturise your skin ( I mean it), and with that this concealer will glide and smooth out the skin perfectly :)
I'm a makeup artist and this is by far the worst concealer on the market! Using this on my one face I notice they it drys up very fast and becomes blotchy. I use translucent powder over the top and it shouldn't be crumbling and separating on my face. It has such low coverage I have to use five layer just to cover my blemishes. On my nose it separates and shows all my pours making me look crusty and just disgusting. Comes in such a small bottle there is really no point in purchasing this product, I do not recommend !
I've been using this for a while, in shade 10 and 20. I'm a light-medium skin tone, and although they look kind if orange when I put the product under my eyes, this disappears as soon as I blend out, and meshes seamlessly with my skin. I use my fingers or a brush to blend this out on unprimed, only moisturised, skin - using a damp sponge when I dont have foundation on just seemed to pick the product up. I apply a little under my eyes, around my nose, on my chin, and middle of my forehead to balance out the lightness, and I think it looks perfect, like I'm not wearing any makeup. It can crease the tiniest bit under my eyes if I put too much on, and also creases on my eyelids if I put too much on, but normally it's fine. I don't set it as I prefer the dewy, awake and natural look, and I have normal - dry skin. Throughout the day it does get a little dewy around my nose - I would definitely set it with powder on a night out. Day to day, I just pop this on with some bronzer, and I'm good to go. Not to much, and no setting powder, and it looks perfectly natural.
