This is the first time I have had a shade 100% match and melt into my skin. I usually can use neutral shades, but they are always a little warm. Cool shades are often too pink. This is perfect. The formula is very thin, applied easily and gives medium coverage. The finish is somewhere inbetween illuminated and matte. It's very natural. I would describe this as adding a filter to your skin, and not a mask. I'm super happy to have found this on TikTok and it's my first time trying Maybelline in quite a while.

Bring the old formula back!! I don’t know who approved this new formula, but it’s awful. It’s so sheer and created so many creases. I only needed two pumps of the old formula to cover my face with full coverage, this one I need five pumps! I’ve had it for a week and I wear make up every day and I’m already halfway through the bottle. Ridiculous! I usually don’t make reviews but the old formula was perfect for my red and oily skin, and lasted all day. This formula clearly has less of a wear time and is just over a worse product. Unfortunately, I will no longer be purchasing.

I bought this thinking it was going to be the same cover like the Maybelline Super Stay Full Coverage Liquid Foundation - 320 Honey. I am not happy with the new formula. My makeup doesn’t stay on all day and I end up looking shinny. I work in an office it’s not like I’m in the outside heat.

It’s not sweat proof, it doesn’t even last 12 hours. It was bad enough the first time you changed the formula then you cancel it all together? I’m not using maybelline products anymore if they just change stuff without consulting the loyal customers that use them.

It doesn’t oxidize during the day but it does exaggerate patchiness or dry spots. It’s has a medium coverage and the shade is good for those with neutral undertones as it won’t oxidize or change during the day. Thankfully its matte finish stops it from bleeding or lifting if you sweat or get your face wet.

This foundation surprised me. I've always been a light coverage girlie, but this feels light on the skin while also providing great coverage. -Helps disguise discoloration and blemishes -Natural finish -Works well on combination skin (but not if you lean on the oily side) -Buildable coverage, blends well if skin is prepped properly Downsides would be the shade range, obviously. If you lean oily, this likely won't work, as it does require a blot halfway through the day.

I suppose this is the new version of the previous superstay foundation. The new version is not as great. It is a stay on make up which is good, but the effect is ordinary. The previous was the best I ever had, and at a reasonable cost. All my imperfections disappeared and my bad skin glowed! The new version is ordinary, makeupy. Yes the texture of the previous foundation was quite thick, and needed some effort to blend but the result was sensational. I received so many compliments! And I would say « maybe It’s my skin, maybe it’s Maybelline » !

This is now my 4th bottle of the Lumi -matte foundation. It works great on my combination/oily skin! However, I had this item shipped, and it arrived without the original seal spilling all through my package. I attempted to do a standard return with a replacement, but was only offered in-store returns for this item. I needed the item for this weekend and live over 28 miles from the nearest Target. I am highly dissatisfied with my order experience.

It oxidized too much! The first time I used it, I was so in love that it looked on my skin! Beautiful application, but it oxidized so much, and It matches perfectly to my skin color, but idk if I should buy a lighter shade or mix it 🤔 makeup is expensive, too, throw away

To me it’s great for a summer foundation. Light, staying power is there and has an awesome array of colors. Not sure if I need makeup that lasts 30 hours but it’s good to know if I’m busy saving the world I won’t have to worry about touching up right away with Maybelline. I’m old fashioned so the only reasons I knocked it down a star was for the buildable foundation for me. My tired skin need more peekaboo in the office on a Monday morning. So to summarize! Great for a night out or as a summer touch up for the people that are lucky to only need a touch up!

I have been using Maybelline products for 35 years and this new super stay Lumi Matt foundation is the worst product I have ever used. It is oily with no coverage and I miss the old super stay foundation. I guess it’s time to find a new brand.
