This seasoning is one of my all-time favorites! It is my go-to anytime we make salmon. This seasoning on the salmon and then after it's cooked add a squeeze of lemon and it's complete perfection.

I bought this to use in your Chicken thighs with peaches and bourbon seasoning. A couple of nights ago I was fixing a slab of ribs in the oven. I happened to spot this on the counter and decided to use it as a rub. I sprinkled it on generously and cooked them slow for hours in a covered pan. Took off the lid and added a layer of BBQ sauce and turned up the heat for about an additional half hour. They were delicious!!

Do not use if you have hypertension or are avoiding salt. No sweetness, no bourbon taste, just salt. I would make a 0 rating if I could.

I used on pork chops. Found it to be spicy and did not taste any brown sugar and very little bourbon taste. Very disappointing.

We have used this marinate for our filets for years and it's still my husband's favorite. Recently I marinated salmon with it and it was a hit.

I love the Bourbon brown sugar chicken some restaurants have, it's very addictive. So I bought a couple of packets of this for a small-med cut of beef. For the overall flavor I like it, but it's not sweet at all, in fact, it's bitter. I didn't taste anything resembling brown sugar at all. Hope the other packets of marinade/spice rubs I bought are better than this.

I'll never use anything else on a steak!

I finally got smart and only buy PRIME beef—that's key. But this rub is FABULOUS! Pull steaks out of fridge at noon. At 3:00PM, spread a generous amount of this seasoning on both sides and let sit out. By 6:00PM most of the rub ill be "wet/soaked in"—so I sprinkle just a little bit more! Using kitchen string, I bundle rosemary and thyme and set aside. Preheat oven to 415°. Next: Get my cast iron skillet wicked hot and add 4T salted butter to the skillet and the herb bundle. After the butter is melted add steaks and sear 2 minutes on each side. Using a large spoon, continuously spoon the herb'ed butter over the steaks. After the 4 minutes, put the pan in the oven for 2 minutes for 1" steaks, or 4 minutes for 2" steaks. Pull the skillet out of the oven and let the steaks rest on the plate (away from the heat of the pan) for about 5 minutes. PERFECT EVERY TIME for rare (but not blue!) in the middle.

We love using McCormick seasoning and have quite a few different seasonings in bulk. We bought a 19oz container of this with high hopes and after a few different uses I was tired of ruining perfectly good steak, chicken and pork using this seasoning. Very disappointed.

Don't season like normal, it has a good flavor but it's all salt. Tried on ribs, both sides lightly seasoned, it's was extremely salty, Even for a thick brisket i think it would have been to much.

I bought this last week for the first time and it was a great hit. I cook regularly in my BIG EGG grille and gave it a try on. Shoulder Blade Boston Butt roast which I slow cooked for about 6 hours at 180. The best I've ever had!

We love this on pork chops but I am wondering how it can not contain any carbs with brown sugar listed as an ingredient.

I caramelize onions with peppers. Add McCormick Grill Brown Sugar Bourbon. Pour the mixture over salmon or cod. Bake in oven for about 20 minutes. Delicious. I always keep a spare bottle so I never run out.

Best steaks I've ever cooked (or eaten) were made using this marinade (used canola oil). I cooked bone-in rib eyes and let the flames hit quite a bit for char. Amazing taste! I cooked the left over marinade I had the meat kept in at the end over the stove as an extra sauce and it's amazing for the thicker pieces of steak to get dipped in. Great product!
