Didn’t work and smells gross
I haven’t been using this every night for 6 weeks after my umbilical hernia surgery and it has not lessened the appearance of my scar at all. It looks just the same as before. I also can’t stand the smell of the cream - it’s gross!

Seeing Results but it Takes Time & Patience
I’ve been using Mederma PM for a few weeks now, and I can already tell it’s starting to work. The texture is lightweight and absorbs quickly without leaving any greasy residue, which makes it great for nightly use. It also has a mild, clean scent that doesn’t overpower. That said, the tube is definitely small for the price. If you’re covering larger areas or multiple spots, you’ll need to use it sparingly or restock frequently. Based on how much you get and how slowly scars fade, I’d say it’s realistic to expect noticeable results in about 3 to 6 months with consistent use. If you’re looking for a quick fix, this might not be it—but if you’re patient and consistent, it’s absolutely worth keeping in your routine. A little really does go a long way.

Good until it wasnt
Started using this cream for burn scars since it was highly recommended from reviews online. It did reduce the appearance but then out of nowhere it started leaving chemical burns…Also it smells bad and is pricey for the little product.

Onions? Really?
I do not want to smell like onions at night. I do not care about it's possible anti-inflammatory properties.

Amazing Results
I am amazed at how quickly this works even after one use I could see my scar healing. I recently had Moe’s surgery and the wound looked like Frankenstein stitches also bumpy and bruised. It’s a miracle cream and I’m so happy I took the chance and tried it. I had considered many other products and honestly wasn’t sure which one to buy. This product has gone above my expectations and is excellent.

Superb Scar Cream!
I used this Cream on my neck (post-surgery), after my surgeon said it was "safe" to do so. After consistant nightly (and daily) use, my scar is barely visible (to me) and not at all visible to others. I have olive complexion, and my skin scars easily. Mederma has worked wonders for me, physically (and emotionally). I give it extremely high marks!

Has greatly improved my skin after Morpheous8 damaged it. I had thickened raised banding on face in areas after Morpheous8. This product has helped to flatten out the raised scar tissue on my face. I've used it for about 2 months. With time and more use, hopefully I will continue to have improved scars.

Mederma is the best brand for helping reduce the appearances of scars. In the past i have bought products from this company. They have not disappointed. This was my first time trying out this specific product. I bought this cream to help reduce the appearance of one of my scars from a surgery (minor, surface level scarring). It worked really well and the appearance of the scar is not as noticeable as it was. I love this product, it is not too thick or sticky. What worked best for me was that I applied the product and let it set for one minute then rubbed it in. I also saw videos on the internet using this product for acne scars. I did in fact try it. It faded the acne scar redness quite drastically. Overall, it took about a little over a week to notice a difference. I only used the product at night with my skin care routine, but i assume if you use it more consistently you will have better/quicker results.

Broke me out
Used it for my acne scars and it works well if you apply right after the pimple goes away but not great if it is older. I am giving this 1 star because it seriously broke me out. Every time I would use it I would brake out around the area I applied it. I would also get another pimple on the spot where the pimple was in the first place and I put the cream. Which lead to an extremely annoying cycle of then having scars from that pimple and then applying more scar cream and then getting more pimples. Very disappointing because it was really helping my scaring but not worth the brake outs. I also used this on scars on my body for months and it has done absolutely nothing. Not a great product

I have only used it for 2.5 weeks but honestly started seeing great results on my long term scar. The scar has been affecting my confidence but now I have some hope that it will be gone from my body. I will continue issuing it for another 8-12 weeks hopefully to see it fully gone. I have previously tried laser scar removal and it did nothing to improve the scar. I am very hopeful that the cream will continue to work

Incredibly Effective Scar Cream!
1-yr. Later: You can barely see the surgical scar, on my neck! (Originally, it was a 6-inch line and very visible.) You'd have to look close-up to see it. I'm amazed by the results of this Cream, since I have olive complexion and get keloids easily. I wish I had learned of it years ago. I've never seen anything like it!

Awful smell
I used it one day and had to wash my face immediately. I smelled like b.o. so bad. So I googled the ingredients and they put onion bulb extract in this. Smells so bad. Returning this.

I can see it working!
I had a total thyroidectomy and I am very self-conscious about the scars. At 3 weeks post op my surgeon, recognizing how easily and intensely someone with my skin type would scar, put me on a regimen of Mederma PM at night and silicone strips during the day. After just one week the ends of the scar have flattened and the entire scar is less intensely pink as it had been. And I love the fragrance of the Mederma PM. It is very calming.

The surgeon was amazed
I went back for a followup after having cysts removed from my face. The surgeon wanted to know how ihealed so quickly and with hardly any scaring. She was amazed when I told her what I used (the PM cream). I'm trying it more on a scar from years ago. I'm not expecting much, but who knows! It worked wonders before.
