A: Good day! Our MA-50 air purifier releases a small amount of ozone as a byproduct. However, the unit is ozone-safe, and CARB approved. The ionizer feature is optional, and you can turn it off.

A: Our purifier works on 3 layer filtration - Pre filter, True HEPA filter and active carbon filter for odor removal. Replacing the HEPA filter will make your air purifier last longer and more effective.

filter replacement is wrong
good purifer until you need to replace the filter... as stated by the other reviews it won't turn on if the filter is not aligned correctly.. and the replacement filter they give you in the box.. is bigger than the one that was already in the actual product.. I put the side by side and see and you can see the "replacement filter" that they provide you is not the same size as the other one. kind of a waste of adding a filter if you can't use it.. terrible experience as a consumer.

Ridiculous warranty
Warranty does not cover accidents. If your product gets damaged like the screen cracks they will not replace it they will only give you a 20% off next purchase. Lifetime warranty is only if say the motor burns out.

DOES NOT REMOVE CIGERETTE SMOKE
I have a small condo, upstairs unit and the downstairs neighbor cigarette smoke is coming in our condo. I have 6 air purifiers all on the highest settings and this unit DOES NOT REMOVE THE CIGARETTE SMOKE! It is extensively loud on the highest setting. I do not recommend buying this product.

Love it, mostly.
This is a really great air filter that is getting us through our worst pollen season. Overall I would recommend it with a few drawbacks to note: 1) the night/sleep mode still leaves a light on which is frustrating if you want to leave it in while sleeping 2) the lowest mode is quiet but really doesn’t seem effective at all. In spite of these drawbacks would definitely still recommend.
