A: Hello RAD, The Bionaire Essence 360 Air Purifier features an air ionizer. Air ionizers may produce a small amount of ozone as a byproduct. According to product information, the ionizer in this appliance produces less ozone than the UL established limits of 50 parts per billion (ppb). Although this is a very low level, to prevent ozone buildup, it is suggested to use the ionizer in well-ventilated areas with the fan on. Bionaire Support Team

Affordable air purifier
We love our unit. It effectively reduces dust and allergens. Odors are reduced. It may help reduce germs. Unit is easy to transport and buttons are easy to push. It looks attractive when out. I’m considering buying a second unit!!!

Buy it... I promise you won't regret it...
We have 4 cats, 4 litter boxes, carpet throughout our home so it holds dust like you wouldn’t believe and apparently, I have allergies now…. I was very skeptical about how powerful the unit would be because of its size but let me tell you… This air cleaner has been a REAL game changer for me and our home in the 24-48 hours that it’s been on (medium-highest setting). No sneezing, coughing, or eyes glued shut when I wake up! The highest setting can be a little loud so we use the medium setting at night and the noise level is very tolerable and unit is just as effective. I highly recommend this air cleaner because of its high quality and the awesome price.

Very loud unless using on lowest setting.
Super loud on settings 2 and 3. Setting one is so quiet but I question how well that setting works. The buttons are super hard to click and select features. Very sleek looks that fits my decor well.

I really enjoy that you can place it anywhere and it purifies from every direction. It removes bacteria and germs while getting rid of most particles. You can choose what setting it is on. I turn it lower during the day so it’s not as noisy and then turn it up at night to do its job. As a mom of four, it gives me peace of mind.

First, I loved the packaging – I very much appreciate when companies use recyclable materials instead of foam for packing. The unit is so well designed and beautiful to look at! It is extremely quiet on level 1 and 2, level 3 is pretty loud – I have it running on 2 in my office and it is just a quiet background noise. The touch screen controls are easy to use. I love that it has two options for use at night depending on what you need – either a nightlight or complete darkness with just a dim moon button. This is a perfect bedroom purifier! The UV light is inside the unit internally so no bright light to keep you awake. Since I have started using this in my office there is less dust, and the air is so fresh and clean. You can’t go wrong with this!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Because of dust and dander allergies we need air purifiers in our home. We’ve been through quite a few and this one seems to be one of the best. First, it’s very neutral and doesn’t stand out or seem out of place with any decor. Second, it runs relatively quietly even on its highest setting. Finally, it’s simple to use. The touch screen controls are activated at the slighted touch making it easy and quick to change settings. The only drawback I can see is that the filter doesn’t appear to be washable like my other purifiers. However, the manual states that it should be good for a year.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Got this to use In out house mainly when I have my baby nephew around to help cut out the bad things that are in the air from cigarette smoke etc. Husband smokes in a completely different room when the baby is hear but it still lingers in the air I feel due to the many years we have been living here. Was meant to only be used then however I find we run it everyday as I feel a difference in the air while using it opposed to when we do not use It. I do recommend this product.

The handle makes it easy to move around when you need, and the colors and fabric are really attractive. It looks equally good in a bedroom or a living space. This air purifier is so easy to pick the settings you are wanting (example Uv on or off, which speed of fan you are wanting, Ion off or on) its really an easy set up. I love how clean the air just over all smells after running this air purifier and I feel good knowing what a great job its doing to get germs/scents out and clean air in. My family all got sick and this was the best thing ever to get and use to clean our home air. Simple but durable and powerful what more could you want in a purifier.

Very easy to set up and use. Just remove the plastic bag from the outside, another bag on the filter inside, plus the unit in and chose your settings. The unit has a digital control panel on the top. Place it in any room and choose your settings and you are ready to go. I would definitely recommend this air purifier.

What a difference it makes
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We live in an older home with two small dogs, beside the river and a few blocks over from the interstate. Let's note that we change the filters in our home system frequently and we don't always get to keep the windows open to air things out. I was skeptical that it would make a lot of difference. Our bedroom has been stuffy, and that's where we put our Bionaire. Within two weeks we noticed that our breathing was easier at night and that we were sleeping deeper. Next, we need one for the living room.
