Was bought as a present for our family that's sensitive to the terrible air quality in our area, and was great for the first 2 years. Now, I haven't seen a time they have the replacement filters in stock available. Will have to find another purifier that actually carries inventory of it's replacement filters. The purifier we have has been gathering dust in our family room for over a year, since the filter was indicated to be full.

I absolutely love this air purifier! I was impressed yet skeptical that it called out "Power for Pet Owners", but this air purifier has exceeded my expectations. It does a great job of keeping odors at bay in my home office, which also houses the litter box. In addition, I love that I can tell what the clean air level is. The filter is also extremely easy to change. I would absolutely recommend this in the future!

Zero Stars ! I am so glade that I decided to return the shark air (questionable) purifier before the return period had lapsed. From the first day, until I decided to return it, the indicator light, that tells you the air quality stayed at 100%, indicating no dust, no allergens, I presumes. No Way !! I have a dog, and my carpet is in need of a deep cleaning. Many reviews stated that the air quality indicator, seemed incorrect. I believe that this is a quality control issue and I believe that Shark is aware of it. Zero, for me.

A little skeptical

I just bought this and so far it’s fine. I’ve noticed the air hasn’t been stale and it’s super quiet. But I’m skeptical of the air quality percentage. When I first used it, it started at 86% and after checking it in the morning, it went up to 99%. Last night when I turned it on after coming home from work, the air quality was around 84%. When I checked on it this morning, it went down to 75%. It ran all night long so I’m not sure why the air quality decreased. But the air feels fresher so I’m on the fence on whether to return this.

Got really sick in the fall & winter of 2023-2025 and ended up hospitalized several times for asthma, pneumonia, collapsed lungs, etc and before they could figure out what was causing all my health issues, I decided to get this HEPA filter. Omg, it works amazingly! My air in my apartment was only 46% clean when i first turned it on. Within 2-3 hours, it was up to 86% and it kept improving to 100% over that next hour. I was breathing sooooo much better that very first night. I always keep it running on Auto now! This thing is a miracle worker for me. P.S. Turned out I have strong allergies to dogs and house dust… which caused allergic asthma, which caused all my other problems. So i use inhalers and allergy meds daily now but I still won’t go a moment without my Shark HEPA.

At time to replace the filter, I called the Shark Support Team phone number and was disappointed to reach an offshore call center where the person who answered the phone had such poor English speaking/comprehension skills I had to conclude the call and will need to find a replacement filter elsewhere.

I bought this for my freshly painted bedroom and it always says between 98-100 no variance. Moved it to the kitchen where it remained at 100 even though the gas stove was running and I could smell the gas when the stove ignites. I think it's defective, because even the cheap one I had before detected when the fridge was open, when I cooked etc. this one says the air quality is perfect always. I'm really skeptical. Going to have to get a different brand I guess. Bummer.

Immediate odor difference. For those complaining about the initial 96% reading, that is the filtration %... NOT your air quality. A HEPA will raise to 99.7-100% as it should.

Filters are $70

I am displeased when companies try to mislead or confuse consumers. The description includes “odor lock” but they make another product which has “odor technology” and there is a vast difference. This product has nothing extra to tackle odors. Also, “auto mode” seems to be “run all the time on low mode.” The fan speed drops as the air quality improves, so how will it clean 500 square feet? Maybe all air purifiers work like this. It was running in a 120 square foot room in auto mode and air quality was 96% and did not hit 100% in an hour.. I cranked it up to “high” for 5 minutes and it got to 99%. The owners’ manual has very little helpful information about how to use this efficiently. Fortunately, I enjoy experiments and challenges, unfortunately this one cost me $150.
