Auto Mode Limited to 2.5PM Particles
The product description is misleading because nowhere does it mention that auto mode only activates when the particle sensor detects PM2.5 particles. So if you’re concerned about smaller particles like smoke, viruses, and bacteria, which are PM1, this purifier won’t automatically filter them. I plan to return it.

Small but Mighty!
I love my 511i! I really have enjoyed using this product. I find the app super simple and convenient. I look forward being able to watch the light go from red to blue and show me in real time how clean my air is becoming. I have also noticed less congestion. We live / rent an older house and the air quality is not as good. I will be picking up a couple of more units here soon to help the whole house be a bit fresher and cleaner air for us to breathe!

Great purifier wifi not so great
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I do like this a lot. It is so quiet and barely uses much energy. Really noticed a difference in air quality in the basement since we put it out. But heres the thing the wifi set up isn't the greatest. I get why they would only want it on not the full throttle wifi but I dont have the option for wifi splitting so it just purifies rhe air really well. Can't really read anything on the air quality.

I had to buy this. And it helps and it makes me feel so snobby about air quality but i got so self conscious and aware about the particulate matter and household level of pollution it’s like I couldn’t breath anymore and was forced to purchase things.

Clean Air!
As a first time buyer I’m very impressed with my 511i, unlike most other brand such as Shark, Blueair has the app that works great and it’s very convenient. Only down side is that after some time the device gets bit dirty and requires me to clean more often then usual. But least I know it’s doing exactly what it’s intended to do! Overall the 511i Max makes a great air purifier for any bedroom or nursing room!

fabric sleeves and coverings
my last blue air the motor burned up due to the fabric cover making it overheat. I returned it for that reason, and also the fabric cover is attached by a screw instead of just slipping it over it, both of which are not ok. also I would want an air purifier, not a digital anxiety, but just and on and off switch.
