While all of our deodorants are clinically tested to be safe for all skin types, for kids and teens, we hear from our customers that our water-free deodorant line is the best spot to start. This includes top sellers like The Smoothie Deo, The Green Deo, and The Glow Deo. The science behind it: because these formulation are water-free they sit on top of the skin barrier, reducing the risk of an ingredient penetrating the skin in a way that could cause a one-off sensitivity (something we are extra "sensitive" to with our younger customers!)

  • A: Hi Valentina, thank you for your question! Rosy Pits is an aluminum-free deodorant, therefore it is not an antiperspirant and will not stop you from sweating. There are some aluminum-free deodorants that contain ingredients such as baking soda or arrowroot powder that can be helpful for sweat absorption. We recommend The Geo Deo from Megababe. It includes baking soda which is helpful for moisture absorption.

Q: Can I use this deodorant under my breasts instead of your powder one? I don like powders because they cake up when you sweat and are a mess to boot. :)

  • A: Powder can be a bit of a mess, but we do suggest powder and not deodorant for this type of application. Rosy Pits Daily Deodorant fights both wetness and odor, but for a part of your body where you really just want to absorb sweat to keep skin and clothing dry, our powder is going to keep you drier! When the powder cakes up, as much as that can be annoying, it means it’s doing it’s sweat-absorbing job. Our powders wash off of fabric (tops, bras) with normal laundering.

    Long time user, formula changed?

    Worn for years, but something has changed. The last two times I have purchased this, it has only lasted about a few weeks, where before it lasted a couple months? Something scratches my armpits when applying. I also have noticed BO smell the next morning (even after applying post shower the night before). Something is definitely off with it. You have to ship and nothing is able to buy in person.

    SCENT is dreamy!!!!

    FAVORITE SCENT of all time for every product I have owned! When I wear this I get whiffs of it all day....I wish I could BATHE in this scent! Light and powdery --not really rose smelling at all!

    It works

    I love it! It doesn’t have a strong rose scent (like some bathroom air freshener) but it’s lightly floral and mellow. It protects me from odors during my long shift at work!

    Burned my underarm after one use

    Megababe Rosy Pits deodorant is advertised as gentle and suitable for sensitive skin, but after using it once, it caused burning and irritation on my underarm. Very disappointed and would not recommend.

    Causes allergic reaction

    I really wanted to like this Megababe deo but by the second day I had a terrible rash under my arms. I threw away the deo and it took several weeks for the rash to heal.

    Product has changed recently and I won't buy this anymore.

    So disappointed by the changes. I used this deodorant for years and won't anymore. The new packaging is hard to screw and unscrew (and feels flimsy), the smell is different and disappears quickly, it no longer says 'no aluminum' on the new packaging so I'm not totally sure if it has it or not. All in all, a disappointing change. Especially when it's clear they've made changes to lower how much it costs to make the product but it's still very expensive for us to buy!

    One of the worst

    I bought bins wanting something new when they stopped making the bed aluminum free deodorant. The smell was so overpowering and horrible. Mostly chemical. It’s supposed to be beach which is funny since I lived by the beach. More bathroom. After all that it didn’t last more than a few hours.

    Something is different...

    I’ve used Megababe Rosy Pits for years! I love the smell and the clean feel. BUT this last time I repurchased something was off. The top is different but no big deal. However the bottom of the deodorant does not crank, so this tube did not last three weeks. I reached out to Megababe bc I thought they would stand by the product, their response was to return it to Target. So will do and will also search for a new deodorant.

    I really wanted to love thus product :(

    I’m a sucker for packaging and this screamed out to me so I had to have it. Since going aluminum free, I have struggled to find a deodorant that worked long term so while I didn’t think this would last 72 hours I was hoping it would last at least all day… nope. 6-8hrs into wearing and things definitely get smelly. And I can’t be sure if it’s my own sweat mixed with this particular scent or if it’s the product itself but it’s almost as if it makes my sweat smell worse. I have even spent 3 months giving my body time to “adjust” to this product but it has only gotten worse with time. The only benefit is it does leave my underarm skin feeling very soft. Still, for its intended purposes, I would not recommend this deodorant.
