Pros and Cons
Love the smell of this deo. It is a blast of freshness! The formulation sometimes causes redness for me, so I've found I can't wear it multiple days in a row. Instead, I rotate it with another megababe deo type (santal right now, geo has also worked for me) so that I don't have that issue anymore.

Unexpected rash
This gave me a rash/ chemical burn! I don't even have sensitive skin so didn't expect it at all. Now, I'm left with dark discoloration on my left armpit; not fading after 1 month. On the up side, I like that it goes on clear and keeps the odor well for a non-aluminum deodorant. Soapy pits scent is quite strong, a bit artificial but not unbearable. Chemical burn is unfortunate though; I really had high hopes for megababe.

Overall good, but might not be for me
I’ve used multiple Megababe products, and I usually like them all! But for some reason when it comes to the non-creamy deodorants my underarms look patchy. I’m not sure if it’s the product or my skin, but it looks like the skin is peeling. There’s no irritation or anything, just the peeling. And I’ve tried them out on multiple occasions and it always turns out the same. . The smell is nice and usually lasts most of the day. I definitely recommend trying out the deodorants, but it might not be for everyone.

Long lasting without irritation
So happy I tried this brand, it is so worth the price. Lasted all day through multiple instances of sweating from both heat and stress. I haven’t had any irritation and it doesn’t leave visible white residue on my armpit hair. The consistency is dryer than the average clear solid, doesn’t feel wet like those ones can. It’s super easy to apply a thin layer which is all I’ve needed, no caking or flaking. The scent, however, is divisive: I LOVE it but my bff was not a fan. It is heavy on the lime and kind of sweet with a soapy undertone. It definitely gives off bougie kitchen sink hand soap vibes, but I think that is what makes it work so well. If you don’t like the typical deodorant scents you see every brand making and don’t dislike the smell of lime, try this out.

A Holy Grail Deodorant!
I spent years searching, with a pretty high list of requirements. 1. No aluminum 2. No baking soda 3. Effective 4. Great smell that won’t clash with other products 5. No irritation or redness over time 6. Good product texture 7. Vegan and not tested on animals And it’s this one!! I do love Sunny Pits as well, but can’t stay away from Soapy. It’s fresh and clean but no baby powder scent, as advertised! It’s wonderful.

Like many others I have tried A LOT of other aluminum free deodorants, and THIS IS THE ONE! I love the clean smell of Soapy Pits and, I love that it doesn’t leave a residue on clothing. I planned my antiperspirant detox over planned time off, (it took about 30 days) and I couldn’t be happier. I only used Happy Pits one time, and I use the spacebar daily to wash and soapy pits after. BO-free after a day of work and exercise! I am converted!!!

Propylene glycol first ingredient in New Formula
I am disappointed to find propylene glycol as the first, most abundant, ingredient I'm the new formula. Bummer because it worked so well and no irritation. I'm lieu of safety, which is the whole reason for the switch to aluminum free deo, I will no longer be using this.

Obsessed with Soapy Pits
I was a Rosie Pits girly for years, but recently tried soapy pits and legitimately look forward to putting it on - smells so good! Keeps me fresh even during the summer months in NY, and leaves no residue on clothes, nor does it cause bumps/irritation. My new fav!

Smells incredible
I am really picky about scents, and I absolutely love this one. Feel like I don’t even have to wear perfume with it, it’s light and forest-y and not powdery at all. The texture was a little sticky to me at first, and it’s almost impossible to see the plastic dome you have to remove from the product, but I really like it overall.

Best natural deodorant so far, but still not great
I've tried many natural deodorants and this is my favorite by far. I live the clean smell. Unfortunately it just doesn't keep me dry or smell free for long so it's not good for work days or the gym. I use it around the house on weekends.
