Description
Take an exciting imaginative journey through Rocky Mountain National Park and discover the animals that live there and the sounds they make! Slide a photo card into the wooden play camera, and click the shutter button to activate the flash. Press the buttons on the back to hear three nature and animal sounds per card (sounds are unique to each of the six photos)! Two AAA batteries required, not included. The removable red lens magnifier lets kids three and older search for plants and animals hidden in scenes on the backs of the photo cards. Kids will learn as they play -- the reusable activity card includes native animal and plant identification and fun facts in English and Spanish, plus a park map on the back for pretend play adventures. I was disappointed because I thought when you inserted the cards it would talk about the animal. It only makes the animal sound. 🤷♂️

The red lens comes off That doubles as a magnifier. Comes with a fun fact checklist And a camera carry case. This provides hours of fun and learning. I highly recommend. My daughter loves it. Always wants to play with it.

What a great camera
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This camera came right before my sons birthday and he loved it. This camera is sturdy and easy to handle. My son had a blast clicking photos. It has few buttons which make animals sounds like that of owl and few others animals. It also comes with cards to put in the camera. Along with all thew things it came with a cover to store the camera as well. My son has been taking it everywhere with him since it arrived. We loved it..

Wildlife camera
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My son really enjoyed playing with this toy. It was simple and easy for him to use and it kept him occupied for a long time. It's a great educational toy. It teaches about various wildlife and the sounds they make, while you look through the camera and pretend to take the picture. It comes with many different slides that are easy to put in the camera and take out. The camera is sturdy and also comes with a case to store the camera and the pictures in.

Cute and allows for creative play
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love Melissa and Doug products for my four year old and two year old. This, in particular, is really cute and allows for endless creative play. My kids loved pretending we were on a hike, and had fun spotting all the animals outside. We live around the rocky mountains, so it was cool to see stuff that might be in our own backyard!

My daughter loves it!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] What we like about the Melissa & Doug - Rocky Mountain Wildlife Camera Set is that it is not just educational, it is also fun to play with. My daughter loves clicking the button for camera but she uses the camera lens more to see the small photos of animals and trees. There is also the sound of the animals like the elk which is amazing. My daughter loves it!

Fun Camera
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My just-under 3YO has played with this a few times. She really likes the light and camera sound. She struggles to get the cards in by herself, it’s a small slot and the cards are tough, although they need to be to hold up. I’m happy it still plays sounds even when the cards aren’t inserted correctly. The green buttons along the side are sometimes a little too firm for her to press, they’re not easy press plastic buttons you see on most toys. I wish there was a little more variation in the cards and sounds. Each has 1 animal sound and 2 other kind of background sounds, not what I was expecting. Good build quality, feels durable to play.

Great for pretend play

I don’t put batteries in this and just let them use it as they want. They especially love pairing this with the camping set that they have. Great toy for a kid aged 1-4.

Fun toy
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a fun, unique toy for any little explorer in your life. The camera has multiple functions and is meant to show the animals and sounds of Rocky Mountain National Park. It comes with 6 double sided cards, which slide easily in and out of the camera. Each card plays 3 different sounds when the button on the back of the camera is pressed. The red magnifying lens is removable and can be used to find hidden pictures on each card. It also comes with an adorable bag to hold everything. It’s such a cute, well made toy and perfect for learning and exploring.

Great for teaching about the outdoors!

We hope to take him camping soon and I won’t be surprised if he’s our guide! He loves switching out the cards and searching for plants and animals with the magnifying glass.
