A: We recommend hanging your hopper feeder at least 5 feet off the ground in a sheltered location near trees or shrubs, not out in the open. Shelter helps protect songbirds from predators. Bluebirds may be attracted to the fruit in this blend. Bluebirds also enjoy eating suet and mealworms.

I bought this bag of birdseed thinking I was just feeding some casual backyard sparrows. Wrong. Apparently, this is the avian equivalent of a five-course gourmet buffet because the second I poured it out, word spread like pigeon gossip. My yard turned into Times Square on New Year’s Eve—robins, finches, doves, even one squirrel who looked like he was just trying to blend in. The birds won’t leave now. They perch on the fence like judgmental little food critics, squawking if I’m even thirty seconds late with breakfast.

Great for small backyards

Plenty of birdies
My littles were so excited once we put the bird feeder out that they made and finally started seeing birds coming up to it. It’s a fun homeschool activity having them name the birds that come by their feeder. The mix is very good not to heavy on one thing. So far the birds that visit are favoring the fruit pieces.

Great for outdoor birds
Outdoor birds loved it! Decent sized seeds for different kinds of birds to enjoy and a good sized bag to keep them fed. All ingredients look to be high quality and when we go to clean out the left overs, there is no residue or strange smells.

Bird (and Squirrels) for Cat to Watch
I received a free bag of bird seed in exchange for my honest review. I usually don't buy bird seed because of the mess they make but i found out, it was the squirrels! I was able to see a cardinal but my cat has been glued to the windows watching the bird fly by her.

Attracted Lots Of Birds
Very pleased with this birdseed. I wasn't sure we even had songbirds in the area. But it attracted lots of birds we hadn't seen before, including finches, robins, and doves. We even had a hawk come to our yard.

Attract song birds!
Super great bird feed and does exactly like it says! Saw more song birds like chickadees, as well as other birds like juncos, goldfinches, and house finches enjoying this feed at the feeder (and of course, squirrels too). Came in such cute packaging- I’d love to buy this again!

We really enjoy this bird food. We haven't been birdies until recently but this seed brings all the birds to the yard. The bag is high quality to reseal it and the seed is full seeds and not cracked, high quality.

The Birds Seem To Like It
Threw some out in my back yard and my sister and nephews threw some out in their back yard and it seems to attract birds pretty well. Im not sure about it being for "songbirds" since they all seem to eat it.

Happy birds
This is my 3rd bag of bird food this season, and I’ve learned that the type of feeder really makes a difference! The birds do not seem to love the feeder on the window as pictured but when I use this food in another style feeder they devour it! I’m in NH & the local birds are happy with this food!

I was excited to receive this pack of bird feed. It does have a good variety. My boys have a bird feeder so this is perfect to attract some beautiful birds. We mostly get crows but we still love that they get to enjoy this.

Finches love it
I switched things up and chose this over my standard wild bird feed, and it actually did attract new birds! Although not the three species listed on the packaging, this did attract a lot of finches. The males have lovely red feathers on their chests, and the finches sing me some beautiful songs. A couple of years ago I saw a cardinal in my yard, and I was hoping this bird food would bring him back, but I have yet to see him. I have had this out in my yard for a full week now. By the sixth day I had to refill my feeder, and I expect this bag will last five weeks at this rate. I love that this mix includes fruit - raisins and cherries - but it is still mostly sunflower seeds.

I feed the ducks and birds in my Backyard daily. They love this blend! They actually fight over the bird seed. Not sure if there’s good or not. But they really love it. I live in Michigan so it’s cold and snowy in the winter.
