Q: what's the batteries for if it's solar power and can I put batteries in

  • A: Even though it says that batteries are supplied, j4jfit needs no battery since it's solar. Why would you want to install batteries in a solar watch?

  • A: The battery that I took out of this watch is a CTL 920 F, Not a CR-2016 like it says in the description. Replacement battery is CTL-920-F

  • A: I had this watch for 15 years before I had to replace the battery. the battery is similar to an alternator. And it takes a CR2016 battery. It will literally last the rest of your life.

No nonsense, stylish and feature packed mens watch at an amazing price point!

One of my favorite watches! Great price, simple design with some nice stylings, and excellent feature set. While I do wish the digital screen was a tiny bit larger, doing so would take away from the solar panel backed analog face. I love that I don’t have to charge it and it saves power if in a dark room to several days by turning off the digital screen to save power. I love the international time zone feature. I often leave it on one time zone displaying on the digital face and local time displaying on the analog face! It also has a stopwatch, timer, several alarms and many other features within the digital menu! It even had a backlight and the glow in the dark paint on the analog face lasts quite a while. Great watch, great price! Buy it and support the great team at Casio! I hope they keep churning these out!

Great watch for my son

My 11 yo son really wanted a watch for his birthday. Just a simple analog watch to help him be better at telling time, and with the small digital display he can check as well. He likes that he can set alarms on it to get himself up in the morning. It glows in the dark and is solar powered. Super cool. It is a little big on him but he'll grow into it. It looks very nice for the price.

Nice watch

nice watch but I returned it. Good price but was unable to turn off the seconds and the bar graph display. Not sure why but the constant second count and graph movement irritated me. I ended up with another Casio GW2310 but I miss the analog hands that glow on this one.
