Dangerously Cheap
It came with the ladder put sloppily together so that screws were sticking out, splitting the wood, making it dangerous for my animal- so I got Target to ship a new ladder, which also came ripped to shreds- we frankensteined the pieces we could salvage to make a proper ladder… my 6lb toy poodle doesn’t have enough width to feel safe going up these, maybe a kitten would like this, but any small dog or cat needing the stairs feature would not. The wood is also extremely soft and smells of chemicals, so this isn’t a very pet-safe product. I’m not sure what to do now that it’s here and assembled. If anyone at Target sees this, I’d love a refund. It’s also cheaper on amazon btw if you want to ignore my review and try it anyway (I was told by Target they would price match me after the fact but never received any notification confirming this.)
