Q: Does a 1 inch 3 ring binder fit?
submitted by Nathaly - 3 years ago
A: Hi Nathaly – Thanks for reaching out! If you’re referring to the up & up™ 1" 3 Ring Binder (https://bit.ly/3zDUWaL), it’s just a little too big to fit in this magazine holder. It’s designed to hold things like magazines, journals, and files, but a binder is slightly too big. Hope this helps! - Tim

I initially bought a couple of these to organize school papers and workbooks. They worked so well and look so nice that I bought more for organizing recipe books, medical and financial info, etc. I have about 6-8 of them and they look very nice are sturdy, and hold a lot. The cut-out "handle" makes it easy to pull out and I love that they have a place for labels on each side also.

This item is very nice and the price is hard to beat. After checking many other magazine files that look outdated or flimsy for at least $20+, I came across this one that is just perfect.

Used this for my kids school work now that they are home. It works great and its sturdy. It has felt pads under the corners which is a plus as this material scratches.

Really like these magazine holders. They are large enough to hold most sizes of magazines and the handle makes it very easy to pick up or get to . Will definitely be buying more.
Not the nicest looking, but with a couple above average pluses

Purchased to straighten up an untidy bookshelf of papers. My choice was between this and a solid metal version, but this was considerably cheaper and not absurdly heavy. Pros: The main reason I got these was because they are d-e-e-p! Most magazine holders can not hold more than a standard piece of paper. These will hold that paper in most portfolio folders. Also clipboards. The fact they bothered to put the name plate holders on both sides was a definite plus. Metal! Not cardboard or plastic that breaks. I would recommend to anyone who doesn't mind the mesh look. Cons (but subjective ones): I'm not really crazy for the look of mesh with the rounded-rectangle hole hand pulls. Would have preferred solid finger pulls and different colors than just white an black. Two of the twelve had slight dents in the mesh that I wasn't able to straighten. I just put them between better ones so the imperfections wouldn't show, but bear in mind that mesh will dent. Even so, better mild dents to cracks like you get with plastic or total warps such as with dampened cardboard. The overall look is a little bit funky while I prefer tailored, but the price was better and they were going into a utility room where they would not be seen on a regular basis. It certainly looks a lot better than a bunch of loose papers, pamphlets, and ugly paperback booklets.
The perfect file

Great item. Much MUCH cheaper than other magazine files that are made with less durable materials. If the white doesn't go with your decor just grab the spray paint color of your choice and go to town. Fantastically durable and handsome product at a phenomenal price.

I wanted the wooden version of this, but Target was sold out so I got this instead. I feel this was a good buy for the price, and does exactly what I need it to - if you're KonMari'ing your home and need a storage solution for receipts and papers waiting to be scanned, this is a cute option that does the trick.
