A: I own this:) The slot is actually just under 4.5 inches wide. A standard 4” roll of toilet paper fits just fine between the 2 black notches.

A: I own this and the space between the slot where the toilet paper sits is just under 4.5 inches wide. A typical 4 inch roll of toilet paper fits between with room to spare.

Breaks easy at top hinge
It’s really cute but it was broken at the top where it hinges when I got it at the drive up pickup. Because the metal is so fine and tiny, where it hinges at the top appears very delicate. I can imagine it probably breaks easy since there’s only one tiny screw that is holding it in. It looks like it was bent and the screw popped out. I’ll be returning it.

Well, it’s a lovely design but one day I accidently leaned down on it, not too hard either, and the top snapped off. Just be aware it’s fragile.

The second time is the charm
It took two orders to get one that didn’t seem defective but the second order is fine. I really like the idea of it holding the extra rolls it just hinges to do that so the first one didn’t hinge properly and the roll that you use was not level.

Aesthetic but not durabla
Rating it a 3 only because it is not durable or ideal for a home with kids who apply pressure to the roll of toilet paper causing stick to break. The aesthetic appeal is beautiful but with kids it didn’t last. Unfortunately my boy pushed down to hard on the stick that bends and it broke off easily. I loved it but unfortunately didn’t uphold in our busy boys restroom. I’d recommend if you’re having it in a slow traffic kidless home

Has visual potential, but is not partical for daily use
It's a sleek look, but it also can't hold toilet paper for its life. Not sure if it requires a specific toilet paper, but it doesn't hold on to the options I tried on it. The toilet paper ends up rolling off constantly and falling to the floor, and have been too busy to return it. Also it can catch on to your skin if you lift it, gotta be careful. The annoyance of it has now reached the point of - I will be returning this - cause I found a more stable on in the at home store for 1/3 of the price of this one.

Looks nice but isn’t practical. It’s falls over easily and the paint chips. When you reach for toilet paper to grab some, it just falls over. Looks great on the shelf but when you buy it and bring it home, it looks terrible with the toilet paper on it. For daily use, this one misses the mark. Will be returning.
