A: Hi gwammy, great question! It is not recommended though. Memory foam is heat sensitive and should not be used in conjunction with any electric mattress pad or electric blanket. Doing so will affect the structure of the mattress. Hope this helps.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I had a Biddeford heated mattress pad for almost 10 years. It was good but got weak year after year and buzzed a little. This one washed up really easy following the instructions and has a real long cord which is helpful. I really like how it has concentrated heat in the foot area. I don’t really understand the preheat button. I think it dos full heat for an hour. Really only needs 15 minutes. The shut off in 10 hrs is nice too. The only thing I would change about this would be to give it 10 heat settings instead of 5. I think 1 is a little too hot sometimes. I would really like a 1-2 out of 10. Or maybe a foot only setting. Regardless, my furnace went out and this saved me until it was fixed! 5 yr warranty is a bonus.

The first thing I noticed was how soft and well made it feels. The quilted top adds a nice bit of plushness, and it fits my queen mattress perfectly, I love that it’s fitted so it doesn’t move at all. The heating function is fantastic. It warms up quickly and evenly, and I love that it has five different temperature settings, perfect for finding that just right level of cosiness. The auto shut off after 10 hours gives me peace of mind too. I also appreciate that it comes with two controllers, so my husband and I can each adjust our side how we like it. It arrived well packaged and in perfect condition, with everything clearly labelled and easy to set up. The white colour matches the online photos exactly and looks clean and neat under our bedding. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This Beautyrest queen size heated microfiber mattress pad with 3M Scotch Guard fitted my queen mattress pad snuggle and perfectly. I am certainly glad it is machine washable, and the pad itself feels very thick and durable to last for years to come. The control setting is easy to use and I like that it automatically turns off after 10 hours just in case I forget. Overall, this seems to be a great value for the money and winter seems a lot more bearable having this on my bed!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The material feels kinda cheap, also it takes a while to heat up but I like that it has two plug ins so if your partner doesn’t want there side heated up they don’t have to turn it on. Stays warm for a while I just wish the material was thicker and more comfortable.

I love the heat
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was so excited to receive this in the mail because I get so cold at night. This fit my bed perfectly covering every inch of it. It has 5 heat settings plus a preheat setting. The highest setting gets really warm and I had to turn it down through the night. I kept it on the first setting and it’s the most comfortably warm setting where you’re not too hot. I love this mattress pad!

Our mattress is 14" and we have a 3" topper so we are very close to the 18" thickness limit and as you can see, the mattress pad fits! I received this in queen and the pad stays in place. My favorite feature is that my partner and I each have control over our own temperature, because the queen has two control modules. There are 5 temperature settings. The controls are easy to attach to the mattress pad and they have a latch that keeps them connected. One simple press is all you need for release. This heats quickly and the safety auto-off feature I'd appreciated. I can't believe I didn't add one of these to my life sooner! If you get cold easily, this is a must add for your winter bedding.

Must have for winter
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] A must needed item for me during the winter. I get cold easily so this is perfect to use to warm up my bed before I sleep. I also like to turn it on in the morning. The queen has 2 controls for left and right. Since I only sleep on one side, I just plug in one controller. It immediately heats up and I always turn it off before I fall asleep. I set it to preheat or a low 2-3 as I don’t need it all the way up. I also don’t need to turn on my heater anymore at night or the morning since I have this heating pad.

I do like the features on it. It has the five settings that determine how warm the mattress pad will get. The preheat option is really nice, but I don’t believe the preheat option goes off on its own, which can be an issue because the preheat option will get the electric mattress pad really hot. Once the preheat option goes the warm setting go to the appropriate ones and the bed gets more comfortable. I do like this mattress pad. It fits my mattress very well and doesn’t shift around. I also like the fact that it is machine washable and you can also put it in the dryer.

It’s just that it took me sometime to figure out how to get to the right temperature since each level seems quite similar to me. Without putting on any comforters or blankets, you can only feel a little bit of warmth even when it’s set on the highest temperature, but when it’s covered with a comforter, it gets pretty hot. The heat doesn’t spread out evenly. The middle area gets hotter than the rest, which is fine. Also it’s better to use preheat button to heat it up fast, otherwise it takes some time.
