worst part about midland radio thats ive owned, is their battereis bought 4 xt radios about 6 or 8. month ago, with very little use Two of them have failed! One while out and in use, the other at home out of the blue. This has been my experience with some older gtx radios ive have owned in the past as well. i thought maybe they may have improved over the years but nope. I really like the radios, especially the usb charging, but its to bad the batteries just don't hold up. I dont write to many reviews but being aggravated with the many battery issues ive had with these midland radios motivated me to write this.

Nothin is worse than a dead radio while commutation is key. These spare batteries weight nearly nothing and switch in just a few seconds. It’s just a bit of added security knowing that if the main radio dies there’s a spare battery in my pack at all times!

I use Midland radios everyday at work and they are awesome. These batteries last all day and if I forget to charge them they will still work the next day. We recently replaced these batteries after 5 well used years. Great Product!

I bought these batteries for the radios we use at our business.

Bought these for my work. We use Midland X-Talker radios so the guys in the office can easily communicate with the guys outside. We buy 5 or 6 sets of batteries every year to replace ones in our radios when they cant hold a charge anymore. Can usually get 5-6 months out of them. We use them 40+ hours a week charged overnight.

I purchased the AVP13 Rechargeable Battery Pack (pair) for T71 and T75 as back up batteries for my Midland X Talkers. These battery packs are convenient and quickly loaded into the walkies. I recommend them for replacement and/or backups for your applicable Midland products.
