Not impressed :(
I bought this a month ago to replace the discontinued Hawaiian ginger moisturizing hair butter. I LOVED the Hawaiian ginger hair butter, and it gave me perfect moisturized twist outs that lasted 4 days easily. I’d been using it for years. I had no choice but to start using the pomegranate honey twisting soufflé. I’m not satisfied with this product. It doesn’t not give me the same moisture or curl definition for twist outs. The product feels too thick and like it’s not actually penetrating my hair. And my twist outs only last 2-3 days max. I even went and purchased the leave in conditioner from this same line to use, thinking it could help add some moisture for better definition. (I typically use the white peony leave-in). Nope, Still the same results. I also tried this product on wet hair, damp hair, and stretched blow dried hair. All the same results. I’ve given it 4 try’s. This product smells nice, but that’s about it. Please just bring back my OG favorite, the Hawaiian ginger moisturizing hair butter.

The BEST hair butter
I have very fine high porosity 3C hair. This product is EXTREMELY hydrating and locks moisture into my thirsty strands. I apply it to wet hair over my leave in. Superb definition & moisture sealing. I wear a tapered cut and it's heavy enough to mold the sides and back of my cut. I would highly recommend this product for anyone w high porosity curls.

Game Changer
This is my second time going natural, I loved it the first time but it was so much work. I have fine type 4c hair and the only thing I could do to it was wear it with a headband. Overtime, this affected my edges and they grew back in like before. This time, I tried wearing crochets and wigs but they both caused more damage to my edges. Finally, the first of the year I said no more and started wearing my hair out but I was back to the headband thing because I very self conscious about my edges and forehead. I used Mielle’s leave in conditioner and I really liked it so I gave this a try. Game changer for me!! I finally was able to style my hair to cover my forehead and my curls are banging. It looks full and super hydrated. If you are on the fence, try it. I promise you, I have never been so happy with my natural hair and that’s without the length I desire and color. I can’t wait until summer when the front has grown out more. Mielle, THANK YOU!

Great item, lousy shipping
Just got product, as shown in above picture, item is a cream that comes in a glass jar. Jar was shipped in a box WAY too big for it with absolutely no packing material to protect glass jar from breakage. I have had other items shipped from Target and never had this issue before!!

Interesting product
I used for 3 months it smells great, you feel the nutrients penetrating your hair but with My dry 4c low porosity hair. I don't see the moisture and my hair shrunk. I think this product is for type 3 hair maybe 4a or 4b. It's not heavy enough, oily enough for the shine a thick head of 4c neads. I need a pudding type of product or a cream. I think the alcohol in the formula is the problem. I've seen it do wonders in oily type hair.

love this product!
for the the last 2.5 yrs, i’ve been doing natural box braids on my hair every week. i dont use gel when i braid my hair because i hate the buildup. i always mositurize with pom & honey leave in and braid with this twisting cream. it works wonderfully. i would keep braids in for 2-3 weeks if i didn’t sweat so much at the gym. strongly recommend this for those that are looking for something to use other than gel for braiding styles!

Ok this is my first time trying this souffle. I have to say, I am very impressed. Usually, products like this leave a residue in your hair. This was so easy to use. It made my hair shiny and soft. My curls were poppin and not stif. This is my new go to. I really like it

Not for me
I hate to say it, but this product has not improved. I used it years ago and my hair still does not like it. Unfortunately, it's not like the other twisting creams that I use. This may be the only product from this line that I do not like.
