  • A: Hi there! Happy to shed light! There are no drying alcohols in this edge gel, only a humectant and a conditioning ingredient. We prefer to use non-drying, fatty alcohols (if in a product). These are different from traditional alcohols which can dry out the hair.

    The ingredients are false. This has alcohol in it. It will leave you with no edges. You wont realize it until your edges are gone. BUYER BEWARE!

    Great for any hair!

    I love this! I use it for my stray fly away hairs, when my hair is in a bun! I use it with a mascara type brush and it goes on perfectly where I need it! The smell is minty and gives a tiny tingle on the scalp but it's also feels refreshing, I don't mind it at all! I put it on in the morning and it holds my hairs in place all day!

    Beware!

    BEWARE! This caused patches of my scalp to flake off mid-day. I had red plaques that started flaking off. My scalp itched all day until I could wash my hair again! Please take out the harmful chemicals (PEG)

    Good Stuff Comes in Small Packages

    I love how this edge gel lays my edges without a lot of messy residue. I use it as a finishing product on my ponytail and up-dos. It actually can achieve a light, shiny, residue free look for a few days. I just need it to come in a bigger jar for daily use, but the current size is great for travel.

    Mielle edge control

    Tried to do my edges and it melted into like grease or oil almost I tried it raw on my 4c hair no oil in it or anything and it melted i then straightened my edges and it still melted
