I come from the equestrian world where I'm a bit of a leather snob. I LOVE this leather. It's butter soft right out of the package, so no oiling needed. One thing tough is I wish the chain was a little less substantial. I have a 12lb dog and it is a little overkill on her, but I know for sure the chain will never break. I also do have to punch a few additional holes in it, so I wish there was another size down available. Other than that though, it's a great collar!

I love love love this collar. I didn't want a regular choke chain because there are times where I have to tie my dogs up for about 30 minutes while bathe them, etc. It's nice to know I can walk away for a bit and they wont be strangling themselves. The collar gives them just enough of a pinch to make them stop, without continuing to hurt them. and the material is very great quality. I've tried about 14 different collars and harnesses and this is the first one where I feel confident enough to put them in it without jeopardizing their safety and making sure they stay contained.

I originally intended to use this collar just for training so my dog gets used to leash pressure. I ended up liking it so much that it is now my dogs every day collar. My dog is 80lbs and extremely strong, the leather is super durable and has shown no signs of weakness. I also like that I can adjust the collar with the buckle for the perfect fit. I am very happy with my purchase and would definitely recommend it to any dog owner.

This leather training collar is a wonderful alternative. I admit, I was skeptical because the Gentle Leader has always been what we've used to most effectively decrease our springer's pulling when we take our daily walks. I figured this one probably wouldn't work all that well. We were pleasantly surprised! It worked really well, and it's so nice to have another option. Plus, our dog doesn't like wearing the Gentle Leader at all, and this one she doesn't seem to mind. The leather is top quality, a nice width and the stainless steel chain gives just the right amount of pull correction when needed. We are going to love this premium quality collar. Thanks, Mighty Paw!
