Milani Make It Last Matte Finish Charcoal Setting Spray

This product says shake well but still distributes charcoal and it’s all over the place, don’t waste your time or money

This is a terrible product. I don’t know if I got a bad batch or if it’s always like this but I have shaken it and shaken it and it just shoots black clumps all over my face and smells really bad. It’s the worst setting spray I have ever used. I have added an image from another review and second image is mine so I’m not the only one.

The mist dispersal was not even, and left black/ gray spots everywhere on my face, clothes and everything around me. The spots dry exactly how they land, and one should not have to blend out their setting spray. To make it look better, I spray this product on top of my concealer and foundation before I blend it in. This got the gray spots on my face to disperse; my clothes and everything else however, were still covered. The product in its own, helps with oiliness to some degree, but I can’t get over the mist issue. Judging by the number of comments saying the same thing, I’m sure Milani is aware of this problem. I’m genuinely surprised it’s STILL on store shelves and being sold at full price. I got it too long ago to request a refund, but I’d be happy if Milani or Target just took these off shelves until they fix whatever causes this problem. This is 100% a defect.

Do NOT recommend. It sprays black specks all over your face. I tried multiple bottles to ensure it wasn’t a faulty one. They all did the same.

Works wonders even when the climate is unfavorable

I’m a big fan of the original Milano setting spray but I was finding that I was getting a bit oily in the summer months. The absolutely is more matte. You definitely have to shake it though otherwise you may find a few black specks on your face. I will say the sprayer could be improved I think the mist is very fine and I have to spray more than the original.

They literally said to shake well before using. People can't read. They literally said it's a charcoal spray. People can't read. I'm giving it 3 stars not because of the obvious non issues listed. I just don't think it works. I do a pretty good coat and I feel like my makeup slips and slides off my face. Could be me but I've never had that issue before. Now I could be using too much I've always used a ton of setting spray before since I love a more matte look

This is the best matte spray I have been able to find! I live in a warm climate, where it is very humid most days & this truly helps!

It comes out with either little white dots on my face or little black dots. Its very odd. Even when I shake it up

I have tried many setting sprays, cheap and expensive, and this is by far the best! I have combination & sensitive skin. Just make sure to shake the bottle before each use, & if the nozzle clogs, run under hot water for a few seconds.

Loved this until the spray nozzle got clogged and won't spray correctly. Uneven and patchy spraying now. It was great up till that point. Going to have to find another spray bottle or find a way to unclog this one to get it to work again I've tried but I haven't been successful yet.

I’ve used this product for a few weeks now, and I have very sensitive skin that react to setting sprays easily. However this product has not only made my makeup last all day and all night (when I was too tired to wash my face) but it also did not make my face look cakey or irritate my skin. I love it.

I love this! I'm 45 and this is the best finishing spray I've used. I'm very oily and I sweat a lot. This stops the greasy shine and helps my foundation to stay in place. I layer between my power and foundation. You have to shake before using.

I was a little skeptical because of some of the reviews. I used this setting spray at 7am before work and I didn’t have to touch up my makeup once during the day. My makeup was still flawless when I make it home at 6.

Everyone talked about the charlette tilberry one but I wasn't about to spend almost 60 dollars on setting spray found this cheap on and tested it out. LITERALLY MY FAVORITE PART ABOUT MY MAKEUP ROUTINE!!! So cooling, dries quick and makes my makeup last forever! One time I fell asleep while watching a movie, woke up the next morning and my makeup looked the same almost 24 hours later after I woke up. So matte and amazing!!

Don't buy this um yeah it doesn't even dry I would provide a video of how faulty this product is. The spray nozel came broken too, and no way this can even blend into any white skin

I think it is a good product I have always loved the Milani setting spray in general. I have been using them since I was in highschool. I would say if you want the holy grail setting spray for drugstore makeup this is definitely it. I use urban decay all nighter first and then apply this makeup and it is rock solid.

I love the product, but the spray bottle is faulty. I had to pour the product into a store bought cosmetic bottle. I have not had an issue with the spray leaving black dots, because I shake it up before applying it. I really hope that you guys improve the bottle. Also, I have noticed that on this website, this product is more expensive than in local stores. For this reason, I purchase for the stores rather than from the the website. I don't know that I would recommend this product due to the faulty bottle.

This setting spray is the best I’ve ever used for my oily skin! It controls the oil and prevents makeup from becoming cakey. HOWEVER, you MUST SHAKE BEFORE USE! Otherwise it will come out black because of the charcoal. I found this out the hard way. But if you use it properly it works wonderfully!
