OATS Not only are oats a delicious comfort food, they are also a nutritional powerhouse, providing whole grains, fiber, iron, and an abundance of healthy vitamins, minerals, and antioxidants.
FLAX SEED Flax seed provides an abundance of omega-3 fatty acids necessary for baby's brain development. Flax seed is also a rich source of fiber and other vitamins and minerals for mom and baby.
BREWER'S YEAST Brewer's yeast is a traditional remedy, rich in B-vitamins and amino acids essential for nursing moms.
I personally prefer the oatmeal chocolate chip flavor, but these cookies work just as well to increase supply. I figured out that timing is key -- if I eat these first thing in the morning and pump 2-3 hours later, I am able to pump about 4 oz per breast, which is double what I was producing before trying these cookies. If I eat them later in the day, the result is not as impressive though. The only downside to these is the price - it gets expensive to continue purchasing these each week.
Tried a different brand of lactating cookies that tasted disgusting then I tried these and I was surprised at how delicious they were! I had a few days where I felt that I wasn’t producing as much milk and then I started to eat some of these cookies and felt my milk went back to where it was! So my personal experience was positive and I will be getting more in the near future!
this is my second time trying the lactation cookies box. i eat one bag of cookies every day. these tasted great. i saw maybe an ounce more a day when i pumped at work while eating these. however, the other flavor, oatmeal choco chip, i saw an increase of about 3 ounces per day. i will go back to those
These are tasty and as a teacher Mom they were a great quick thing I could grab for on the go. They were easy to put in my bag to pump and be on my way. They were very tasty too! I didn’t see a change in supply but they helped maintain supply while away from my baby. I loved they weren’t too hard either like some bars can be. I thought they were a great texture and flavorful.
I got the chocolate salted caramel cookies, and they area delicious! My 3 year old keeps stealing them. I definitely noticed a supply increase, but my little one was also having marathon nursing sessions around the same time, cluster feeding because of growth spurt / leap / teething, so that could definitely have played a role as well. I took off a star because I think they are a little too pricey. I received the product free in exchange for my honest feedback
I am a nursing mom of a 6 month old and received this product in exchange for my honest feedback. I like cookies and it’s an easy grab snack bag that I can throw in my purse. I wasn’t sure what to expect since it’s used to boost supply but they taste good. I have enjoyed eating them, but it’s hard to say if they have boosted my supply. I honestly think the best way to boost supply is making sure I’m eating and drinking sufficiently. These cookies make it easy to have a ready snack that probably boost lactation but regardless make sure I’m not hungry. Definitely worth a try if you’re looking for a lactation cookie.
