Monoprice 24-port Keystone Jack Panel

The labels fall out, the plastic brackets break free, and they are generally more of a hassle to use than the previous offering from Monoprice.

I am unable to remove my keystone from this keystone panel. There are no instructions on how to do so provided with the product. The best I could find from others online was simply to push down and and push from the front. Also to use some tool to push through the small hole above the keystone on the front and then down on the clip. You can see in the picture that I have tried that from the small amount of damage. It seems that this product is made for smaller keystones. Looking at the space left on the back it does not look like there is room for a second keystone in the adjacent port.

Awesome price. And well built. Doesn?t include rack studs but that?s normal. Mounted it up and works perfectly. I like that this model doesn?t have the cumbersome cable stress relief as it?s just a panel. Keystones Mount tight into it.

This patch panel works great, and it is a fraction of the price of the brand name brackets of the same or lesser quality!!!

Changed to new manufacture, more plastic much cheaper flimsy design, bring back old model charge more if necessary, new keystone manufacture as well worse than old.

I had never used a keystone panel (instead using a standard cat5/6 patch panel), but I will be sure to get the keystone version going forward. It was so nice to be able to use color coded keystones, keystones of different types (cat6, coax, etc), and to be able to move keystones later into logical groupings as additional runs were added. I will be sure to use these in my future projects.

If you're looking for the crappiest, most poorly designed, patch panel, nothing beats this one. I couldn't install a single keystone with hurting my fingers or sliding off one of the labels. Once I managed to install it, it's a nightmare removing it. Never buying this product again. I don't know why I have to go on Amazon to find a better Monoprice keystone panel.

Once again, Monoprice saw fit to replace an item that is drastically different and not change the PID. Not only does this item look different than the old PID, but the physical spacing between ports is smaller. Any older keystone jacks you may have (*another* change they made without telling anyone) will no longer work. You now *must* have the new style keystone jacks to work with this patch panel. The constant product changes here aren't worth saving pennies by buying from other sites. What a shame to alienate your clients like this. Such a boneheaded move.

We have been using some manual knockdown Keystone jacks by Cable Matters and they seem a little too large to fit into these slots, Fortunately we have some jacks by Everest that we are using a EMS tool that fit very well.We are moving more to the quicker method so we plan to use these in our everyday activities.

Absolute garbage! Monoprice banded punch down keystones do not fit side by side. The labels fall out if you look at them wrong. Please look for anything else besides this patch panel. I spent the last hour fighting in 2 keystones. UGHHHHHH!!!

The picture does not look anything like what showes up. The ports are to close together. Ended up having to buy something else.

We are VIP Members and purchase thousands of dollars each month. Our recent order you sent us is a completely different style patch panel and the color is different. It is the same PID number that we always order. We can't install this at our clients next to other patch panels. As the title says we are very disappointed!

I thought Monoprice figured out the problem with jacks not fitting. I used the "Slim" Cat 5 inserts, but can only get the first 3 in before having to skip the next slot. Perhaps it's a mathematical problem of only being able to allow a certain amount of space between ports before going beyond the length of a proper fitting into a data rack.

Purchased it to connect fiber and other connectors that run from the back to the front. It works really well and I have a lc keystone that just works.

Did not work as anticipated. Once you snap in keystone it broke t plastic trim.

What I like about this panel compared to the pre-made patch panel is that you can mix and/or future proof the panel. What I like the most you can install colored jacks and if a jack fails it can be replaced or upgrade that jack(s). And the big plus is when punching the cables could be or can be easy doing it. You'll know what I mean when you punch the 24-ports or half-way and then punch it in more the future. or even make a change.

Don't really like the port layout, not a typical patch panel layout. Not sure why they chose not to put 2 rows of 24 ports like a typical panel. I know it is doable since their 1U, 24 port keystone patch is laid out properly. Keystones mounted do not look clean as you see the keystone holding clip on the face plate. Lastly, when attaching a cable management to back of face plate, it is tough to insert the middle row of keystones. If laid out in 2 rows of 24, there would be room on the patch for ID tags, easier to insert the keystones and look 1000% cleaner. Long story short, functional, get's the job done, but should be redesigned into 2, 24 each rows.

For simplisticness I am slowing replacing punch-outs with this solution. And all new riser cables and panel cables will be placed in one of these. Price is good. I had to place mine with numbers upside down because of the castones I got , otherwise may have gave it a 5 star.
