Definitely would not want to go any shorter than 6ft to my amp. Giving these a 5. All around quality looks quite nice. Cable gauge, thick jacket, nice quality gold plugs, and seems to be built well. Price is wonderful!

This instrument cable is very low quality. It?s extremely noisy. Any slight movement while playing causes loud interference noise coming out of my amp. If it touches anything while plugged in, it creates loud crackles and static. Perhaps I just got a bad one but I would not purchase again.

I've purchased many guitar and mic cables from Monoprice and they have been great. I purchased 2ea 35ft guitar/instrument cables that were not usable because they had the same microphonic problem others have mentioned in their reviews. They crackle when moved and transmit noise through your amp when anything hits them. They are only usable for rehearsal where you don't really need 35 feet of cable. Now I'm reluctant to make anymore cable purchases. Disapointed
