Great adapter
I have some older monitors and when I purchased a new PC, I had to get the old monitors connected. This adapter is versatile enough to be used for multiple types of connections. I purchased two and haven't had any problems with either of them. I have recommended them to others.

Works as advertised
I’m using this to go from thunderbolt on a Mac to DVI on an older Dell monitor in order to have a second display. Connections works well. The connection has worked well so far except for one brief blip where the monitor did not get a signal.

Better than the laptop for which it is used
My work laptop is a Surface Book 2. Between home and random cubes, I never know what connector will be on the next monitor. This works flawlessly with all of them. The Surface Book, itself, shuts down the DP when it blanks the internal display, and I have to re-arrange all the windows when I wake it up and it finds the adapter again.
