Q: Can you microwave these veggie burgers?

submitted by kathy - 5 years ago
  • A: I know this is an old question but wanted to chime in - I only every microwave veggie patties. This one does well with it (like Dr Praeger's) and I'm a fan!

submitted byHealthy but Hungry - 1 year ago
  • A: You can, but they'll be soggy. I usually microwave for a minute to get it warm, then finish it up in the toaster oven on foil or in a hot pan for texture.

submitted bysomeguy - 5 years ago

Q: Why is this priced like a value pack of 8 burgers when it's only the regular pack of 4? This should be closer to $4.

submitted by Jellyn - 2 years ago
  • A: The pricing appears to be fixed!

Prime Grillers taste so much better than original Grillers. I will not ever buy original grillers again.

So disgusting

Disgusting. Greasy. Tasteless. I've tried the spicy black beans burgers, so disgusting, and the garden burgers, again yuck. These are the least appetizing of all meatless patties available. They do not taste good. Actually they don't taste like anything. They are greasy. Just NO! I do not recommend this product.

Just tried these and was surprised how good they are. With just 100 calories they still have an ample 10 grams of protein. Recommended.

Love seeing these on restaurant menus for options, especially since they became another one of morningstar's vegan friendly products.

Thanks for making these vegan. I think they used to have egg whites which is the reason Vegans stopped buying them. Love this new improved veg burger! I lightly fry them in a pan with veg oil and add extra seasonings! Delicious!

I used to love these burgers for years and years. They were so delicious. Tasted like the delicious vegetarian patties used in a Ruby’s Burger. Morningstar changed the recipe and now they taste terrible!!!

I don’t know what has happened with the Original Patties but they don’t taste good anymore. I have been eating 1 a day for many years and literally loved them. I noticed the last few bags tasted bland and not good. Please go back to the original recipe and I will buy them again. Really disappointed

Ruined a good recipe 🙈

They are now a pitiful-lackluster-dull representation of a garden veggie burger. I absolutelt enjoyed the original recipe. You could see nice pieces of black olives, mushrooms, water chestnuts, and green bell peppers. Now, the recipe is different. Fewer veggies but the texture and mouth feel just sucks! Too starchy and BLAND! Cut corners for more profit? Well, you lost a customer in me. They are horrid no matter what spices or cheese I use. Big companies always screw up a good thing. Congratulations!!

These are prime examples of cardboard between two buns. You could use this to build a home or as a shoe box. I do not like your product.

I do eat meat, but I also enjoy a lot of vegetarian products. I was really surprised by how good these are. The texture and flavor are excellent, and they're way less greasy than a beef burger.

New taste is bland and not good anymore!

This has been my favorite veggie burger for as long as I can remember as a vegetarian. I brought them with me places to have them, told everyone about them being my favorite, and now they don’t taste good anymore. I’ve tried on different buns, with seasoning, still tastes bad. I think something must have changed when suddenly it was switched from vegetarian to vegan. It really has lost its flavor. Sadly, I have so many packages of them in the freezer so I wouldn’t run out that now will have to be thrown out. I can’t even finish a patty anymore. It’s so sad since this was a staple of mine. Please go back to original, or make a separate vegan one, instead of replacing the former great one..

Was good on muffins and light bread types! I don't recommend more than 2 patties a meal, but it's a good choice for any meal.

This batch too hot

3 out of 5 stars
Annakaru1 - 8 months ago
originally posted on kelloggs.com
I've purchased the Garden Veggie burgers in the past and enjoyed them. Recently, though, I got a batch that was way too spicy. I saw that jalapeno was on the ingredient list, but I don't know if the recipe was changed, or if I just got a bad batch. If the recipe has been changed, then the packaging should say spicy, or maybe mild/medium/hot.
