Great rug and shedding is not that big of a deal
Contrary to other reviews, I really like this carpet. Being a 100% wool rug I expected shedding and I honestly don’t think it’s that bad. However, I this is my first wool rug so I don’t have anything to compare to. I vacuumed it three times just for good measure. The first time of course my vacuum was completely full. The second time there was a little bit of empty space in the vacuum, and for the third time I only went over it about three times and my vacuum was half full. I’m sure if I would’ve kept vacuuming it would eventually have gotten completely full. I expect that overtime the shedding is going to continue but I don’t find this to be that big of a deal. There was very little shedding on my clothes and for me this is something that is more important. As for the feel, I think it is very soft, especially for wool, and plush. The color is not as golden as the photos, I would say it’s a true light to medium brown, there are some shade differences throughout the carpet. Overall I really love this rug and would recommend it if you want a 100% wool carpet!

Lovely rug but won't stop shedding!
I love how this rug looks and feels, but it SHEDS LIKE CRAZY! We’ve had it for about 6 months and it hasn’t stopped. I was hoping it would stop because I love the rug, but the rug hair is literally everywhere in my house. I have to vacuum several times a day. It feels like we have animals even though we don’t own any. I will be returning it.
