I’m not exactly sure where they went wrong developing this scent, but it’s awful. I understand that people’s tastes in scents are different, but I’m also not sure how this soap is getting 5-star ratings. There’s nothing “oat” or “blossom” about this scent, it smells artificial, and it lingers long after rinsing it off. It also left a slight, weird, sticky/oily residue on my hands (even after rinsing really well with warm water), which prompted me to RE-WASH my hands using a different soap just to get it off. Don’t waste your money.

The soap doesn’t lather your hands like it should for almost $5 a bottle. I have to pump it a few times while washing my hands. Idk if I’d purchase again because of this. It smells nice but kind of a waste of a bottle if you have to pump 3-4 times in one wash. I give it 3 stars because of the smell.

My absolute favorite hand soap in the under $10 bracket. This doesn’t have the strong floral or vegetal smell that most other Mrs. Meyers scents have. I’d call this a gentle gourmand fragrance. It is lightly sweet and almost creamy smelling, like a vanilla oat milk drink. Sometimes I wash my hands because I just want to smell this soap!

The external part of the pump dispenser is too long for the bottle, so too much soap comes out at once. I've had cheaper soaps in smaller bottles last at least twice as long. I like the actual soap just fine (and use a couple of other household cleaning products from this brand). I wash my hands a lot throughout the day, so any stinging or tightness happens with basically every soap I've used, so I won't make any claims one way or the other there. My spouse has a different skin type and doesn't have that issue. The smell wasn't overpowering to either of us, but again, olfactory sensitivity is just as unique as skin sensitivity. I will say, I liked that the label came away cleanly, because the pump seems pretty sturdy despite just dispensing too much at a time, so we reuse it the bottle and just hold it steady to get ½–⅓ of a pump's worth at a time. Hard to say if it's just general sticker shock for everything lately that made me wait 'til it was on sale, but with how quickly it ran out, I'm glad I did.

Oat blossom is my favorite. I’ve smelled all of the Mrs. Meyer’s scents. This one is light, sweet, creamy and fresh. It’s gentle on my hands that become irritated by other brands. Smooth lather. It bubbles up just the right amount and it quickly rinses off, leaving just a hint of scent. I highly recommend it. I dilute by 2/3rds to make it last longer. Then I pour it in one of those soap dispensers that creates foamy soap. I dislike the price point.
