My Brest Friend Original Pillow - Bluebells

This pillow has been such a life (and back) saver. I used to Boppy for 3 weeks until I discovered this and THANK GOODNESS I tried it out, because it has been amazing. I am not constantly figuring out how to get a pillow to stay in place, and I’m not fighting to keep my newborn from falling into a crack between the pillow and my body. I love it and I ordered new covers, as well as another one to ensure I have this pillow available even if the foam degrades overtime. The cover is hang dry BUT I was able to wash it and have it hang dry between feedings and it was great!

Absolutely love this nursing pillow, it works so much better than the boppy for us.

Honestly, a regular pillow worked better for me. I was never able to get the positioning right and the back rest was more of a hinderance than anything.

I think this works for smaller folks, with the proper torso length, etc. if you’re not within a certain size (height/weight) then you will be uncomfortable. My torso is long, and I’m a plus size woman, so my son wasn’t lifted high enough, and the strap was just barely long enough to clip around my waist. Also the opening that is meant to be for your body is unforgiving, so you’re kind of trying to widen a stiff pillow that has a curve. I don’t think that it’s the company’s fault that I’m a large person, but for my other plus size people (I was maybe a size 22 or 2X at my largest when I was trying to use the product), this may not be the solution you need.

This pillow is very nice but very firm and personally, puts too much pressure on my C-Section incision. I will try to use it in a few more weeks/months once I am less sore. I currently prefer and use the Boppy pillow which is much softer than this guy.

It depends on your body type. My torso is very short and wide so I felt like my baby was rising above my breast more than just at equal heights. Plus it's too firm

Best thing if you want to breast feed. I had so much trouble until I bought this. I recommend this to all nursing moms.

I finally got one of these with my third baby. It’s so much more user friendly than my boppy pillow. If you’re a new breastfeeding parent or have a larger chest, this really is helpful.

I liked that it snaps around your waist so you don’t have to hold onto a pillow and a wrangle a newborn into a proper latch. This was a godsend for the first few months. The pocket is a good idea in theory but I didn’t use it much. I did end up getting a Boppy too but for to propping up our son when he didn’t want to lie flat but couldn’t sit up yet and the Boppy was good for tummy time. The Brest Friend was better for nursing in my opinion. We only had to clean it a few times, washed in cold, hung up to dry a little tricky to get the cover back on but still worth it

This pillow is a total game changer! Up until purchasing this, I felt like I was constantly slouching or sitting in a weird position while nursing. I had a different pillow but it didn’t work as well. This pillow makes everything so much more comfortable and is saving my back, especially with nighttime feeds in bed. I’m so glad I bought this!

My Brest friend is the most necessary gift for any new mom!! I just bought one for one of my friends and I know she will get so much use from it like I did with my two babies. Sooo much better than the bopping pillow because it stays in place. This is the #1 thing that I suggest when someone is having a new baby.

So helpful with breastfeeding. I tried all the different types of pillows and BF support and this was THE ONE. This is also the pillow that my breastfeeding center uses which was helpful. Waterproof slip covers help a lot when you’re leaking or still getting the hang of things. Highly recommend.

This pillow is great! It offers back support when snapped together and places baby at the perfect level for proper latch. Best investment ever made!!

Much, much better than the boppy. Actually keeps the baby level and keeps them close to your body. This creates much better form and latch. The pad behind your back is great too when sitting on a couch. Definitely a buy

It's wide enough to keep baby comfortable during feeding. Clip around the waist prevents the pillow from slipping. And pocket on pillow is great to hold a water bottle and phone.

I love this pillow it's comfortable and i don't have to worry about it sliding down, like the boppy one does , i'm glad i purchase this my baby loves it too now i look forward to nursing my baby !

The item description for this pillow is wrong. The Bluebells pattern cover is polyester not cotton. Doesn't look like it would be comfortable to put a newborn on, it's very stiff and crunchy. Will be returning to get another pattern.

I love this nursing pillow. Has helped me get nursing off to a good start. The buckle helps it stay in place and it offers great support. The pocket is also super useful for storing nipple cream, cell phone, tissues, etc. I also purchased the waterproof cover that fits easily under the cover to protect the foam.
