Fun idea but the product is poor. The mold doesn’t stay closed so you don’t get a round ball and it takes forever to dry. One of the ones we made didn’t set for over 24 hours. This is definitely a dud.

Fun activity for price. My child enjoyed making the meteor ball. The directions were simple, with parental help/supervision. Make sure to clean your child's hands afterwards. We did make a couple of modifications. I added a thin piece of duct tape to the mold to keep it closed because ours started to open as it expanded (we may have over stuffed it a little). Also, it took our ball about 30 min to harden vs the 20 recommended. It is super bouncy. Also, you do not need a lamp for the uv source. We just put it outside in the sun for a little while and it glowed well.
Cool activity to do with kids.

This was a pretty cool thing to do. It did turn out pretty good considering my teenager did not really follow the directions. I think if he would have followed them it would have turned out better. Overall it was easy to do and looked cool. Just make sure the directions are followed.

My kids definitely were surprised when they got this project. They were so excited they did it the same day we got it. They were able to make two balls out of ingredients that came. It was pretty easy for them to do. They used a desk lamp for the heating part.

This was the perfect rainy summer day activity. Not only were the instructions easy to follow but the informative booklet included gave me information I didn’t know. There was enough to make two “meteors”, and thank goodness because we overfilled our first one and it became an egg shaped one as it expanded during the curing/drying process. Once complete, it is a fun bouncy ball that has withstood the trials and vigor that a youth with a ball brings.
So much fun to do

My 11 year old son and I had such a blast making the glow in the dark bouncy balls. The kit comes with everything you need to make the balls and the instructions were very clear as to how to put it all together. It was pretty easy to do and was fun to see how they turned out!
Fun activity but doesn’t produce very bouncy balls

This was a fun activity that came with everything fully included. I liked that we were able to do everything for the craft in one day. The mixing and pouring were doable for my 8 year old and my 11 year old. The downside for me was that we weren’t able to keep the mold together correctly so the bouncy balls weren’t actually round. I also felt like the glow-in-the-dark crystals made it less bouncy.
Super exciting to make!

Amazing!!! I absolutely love this! My son and I had tons of fun making this and he absolutely enjoyed himself. He was so proud of his "meteor". Its very easy and clean to make. Just add the powder to the mold and submerge in water. Everything is included in the kit.
Great idea, poor execution

My kid loved the idea of being creative as we reviewed the educational materials about meteors, but when it came time to complete the meteor/ball, it was a bust. The mold was hard to work with and didn't stay closed so the result was a lumpy mess
Fun to create

Not exactly what I expected. My boss enjoyed making the meteor. It is essentially a small bouncy ball. The directions were clear and helpful. It's did not end up glowing very well but that could have been to user error. We didn't wet the inside of the form before we started like the directions stated. It suck much better after seeing it but I don't believe we used enough glow in the dark powder before the polymer. Turned out well but essentially you are creating 2 small bouncy balls.

This kit is so much fun and the kids enjoyed doing this a lot. I like that this allows the kids to have fun but also be able to enjoy something they made. This was easy to do but was able to give the kids something to feel great about accomplishing.
Easy craft with some learning.

5 year old and 14 year old liked creating the bouncy balls. They actually turned out really good. They glow in the dark and bounce. Simple instructions and easy to do. I didn’t think that it made a lot of product.

This was a fun little project I got for when my nephews were visiting. My 10 year old nephew had fun making the bouncing meteor. We did make quite a mess with the powder mixtures. My nephew said the bags were slippery. A large duration of the project is just waiting while the concoction soaks in water, however it worked! I was worried the ball would smash to pieces when we first bounced it, but it held together and my nephew was very excited for the bouncy ball.
So much fun
