This vitamin made me violently ill on all three occasions I took it. Within 30 minutes of ingesting, I would get the strongest feeling of nausea I have experienced in years, and about a minute into that, I would begin projectile vomiting. The only reason I kept taking was bc I needed to narrow down what was causing the problem.

I’ve never had an issue with a multi-vitamin until I took these. I lasted a whole TWO days of taking these because they made me SO nauseous to the point I was wondering if I was pregnant… do not buy considering I’m not the only one who had this issue! Hopefully I will be able to return these without an issue!!

I've been taking these as well as my family and the "for him" ones too. We stopped taking them after learning about DL-ALPHA TOCOPHEROL - that is a synthetic vitamin e. If you look at most other quality vitamins they all have D-ALPHA tocopheral the natural form of vitamin e. I am cautious now - I want to put on the best in my body. Read up people!

These made me so sick, and I’ve never had that issue with any other vitamins. Additionally, iron and calcium compete for the same receptors so having them in the same vitamin makes me question the makers and “scientists” behind this product. Throwing a bunch of “good” ingredients together doesn’t make a good vitamin if the body doesn’t reap the benefits due to our natural chemistry.

I find it really frustrating that a vitamin company doesn’t understand the human body. The fact that this is calcium + iron is honestly mind boggling. Calcium inhibits the body’s ability to absorb iron and should never be taken at the same time as iron. It’s literally one of the main vitamins you’re not supposed to take with iron if you want to actually absorb the iron. Iron is supposed to be taken on an empty stomach, with vitamin c or any type of citric to absorb it best. This is extremely disappointing to see and just shows how poorly these companies research and manufacture their products.

I was happy with the price and the composition, but these are very difficult to swallow and upset my stomach, sometimes even after I eat (most definitely can not take these on an empty stomach, but some other vitamins I’ve been able to without issue). I had a full breakfast and took my vitamins after. It’s been an hour and I can still taste the vitamin and it’s giving me a feeling like it’s stuck somewhere. After taking the whole bottle, I’m forgetting about the money I saved and am remembering how annoying these are.

There are a lot of Women's Multivitamins (especially the gummy kind) that do NOT contain Iron. This Nature Made tablet DOES contain Iron. Iron is important for women who are still menstruating, but it can cause nausea. I take this right before bed and I have no issues with the nausea.
