Description

Near East started in 1962 in Worcester, MA as a small, family-owned company. George and Hannah Kalajian immigrated from Armenia to the United States and set up a grocery store in 1940. I bought this from Target in October 2021 without looking at the date. When I went to use it I noticed the best before date was March 12, 2021. I’m only giving it 2 stars because I tried this product before and it’s good but I won’t be buying it from target again. I still have the box but I bought it so long ago that I’m not sure if Target will accept the return.

We like couscous very much and usually this brand is great, but this flavor was terrible. Did we get a bad batch? This smelled and tasted foul. No one wanted to eat it, and we ended up throwing it away. What a waste!
