I bought a 0.5 oz tube at the airport a couple of weeks ago (so paid an arm and a leg), but as a couple other reviewers have mentioned, the design is awful to the point that I haven’t been able to get the bottle open. The lid is tiny and tightly sealed, and it’s impossible to get enough leverage to open the tube, even with a rag or one of those sticky jar openers. To add insult to injury, I’m not able to return the tube because it was an airport purchase. Neosporin, PLEASE be thoughtful when designing your products! I have no complaints about your antibiotic ointment, but it’s not doing me any good stuck in a tube.

This is one of those products that I always have in my medicine cabinet and first aid kit. It works really well on scrapes, cuts, and nicks. I even like to use it if I have a pimple that has popped. The formula is very occlusive and gives my skin a nice barrier. If you're using it on a larger area, it's probably good to have some sort of dressing on top, as it can be a bit greasy. I trust this product and will continue to repurchase!

I have been using this product all my life. Nothing better. I don’t ever remember a time when I couldn’t open a tube. These people that complain about a problem with opening it are the same ones that couldn’t open their toothpaste tube and they blame the mirror for being ugly. Thanks for such a product.

Although the .5oz is more expensive than the 1oz for the amount of product received, I greatly prefer the .5oz due to the design of the tube. The narrow opening allows for a much easier and more precise application than using the wide opening of the 1oz.

And as a kid there were times I did not take care of my wounds correctly... which lead to me get a nasty infection on my knee which is now a mostly faded scar. Anyways, point is, I learned my lesson, gotta disinfect and then put Neosporin on my wound.
