honestly for the price for this serum it was not worth the price, it has a weird funky smell to it like fish, the serum is also thick didn't lather on hair great. I recommend just get the high brand one kerastase or any Japanese hair oils those will be worth ur money.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have thin, but lots of it, wavy/curly hair that tends to frizz and this has been a game changer for me. The scent is nice and it isn’t greasy or heavy. It has helped with my natural hair routine as well as my blowouts.

Smell is alright, I feel as though it smells better while in the bottle vs on the hands & hair of application. as I read the reviews, I feel as though I obtained a completely different batch as my product feels very light and watery to the point it does not feel like a hair oil. With that it gives no hydration or shine - I would not recommend & wouldn’t purchase again.

Nice hair serum. It worked great for my highlighted hair. The smell is nice. Priced good compared to some that are twice that amount. Would purchase again.

After pumping it into your hands it feels sticky and heavy but then I rubbed it together and it DISSAPEARED! DRY! GONE! The residue was sticky and dry at the same time and the smell was terrible like rotten fish. I genuinely think I may have gotten a bad batch because it’s really so terrible.

The scent is very nice and clean without being overpowering. The texture is typical of most other serums I’ve used. The way it makes my hair look and feel is divine. No frizz. No heaviness. Silky smooth shine, all day! Love this serum!!!

There weren’t any instructions on the bottle but I looked up the company’s instagram and they have a video showing you how to use it. You can apply to damp hair before styling and to dry hair for finishing. It does add shine. When you pump it into your hands and rub together it feels slightly sticky but it applies well into your hair. So no stickiness in your hair. It also has heat protection up to 400 degrees. Since it’s lightweight, I’m not sure it would stand up to frizz in my thick waxy hair on humid days. But I do like it.

I took the opportunity to test this product, and it’s my first time trying the brand NEQI. I honestly didn’t expect it to be an affordable brand! The design of the bottle gives a high-end feel and is quite cute. However, since it’s made of plastic, I understand why it’s priced at a more affordable range. As for the formula, the serum is very thin and absorbs easily—especially considering my low-porosity hair type. I looked into the ingredients, and it contains several beneficial ones for low-porosity hair. However, there are a few ingredients that should be used in moderation and balanced with a clarifying shampoo to prevent buildup. The only thing to be mindful of is if you have a sensitive scalp. This contains potential irritants like fragrance, essential oils, and bitter orange peel oil. Other than that, it left my hair feeling shiny and moisturized without looking greasy. My hair looked more alive, put together, and had noticeably less frizz and fewer flyaways. This also has a light lactonic and floral scent. I’d rate this a 4/5.

Love it to refresh my hair after a few days. Perfect also after washing the hair for the perfect finish. I can highly recomment - also for fine hair. No greasyness.
