A small espresso poured into a large mug, for example, will cool down very quickly. • Clean the brew unit by following these steps: eject the capsule, close, and lock the machine, and press the button 3 times rapidly. The cleaning process will take up to 5 minutes and will dispense water from the machine in stops and starts. We recommend doing this weekly for the best maintenance. • Descale the machine. Scale build-up can interfere with proper heating and can also affect the taste and brew time of the coffee. We recommend descaling your machine every three months or 300 capsules, whichever comes first.
