Durability & tasteful
I love everything about this coffee maker. When I tell you you can make the best latte!! It’s a must if you are a coffee lover. I specially love iced coffee and the machine makes the best espresso shot for my coffee. If you are thinking of getting one, you should definitely get one! You won’t be disappointed. I’m obsessed!!!!

Too short life span
The coffee is good, but after 3 years of use, the product clogged after being unused for 2 weeks, and no longer brewed coffee. Despite of me following the cleaning instructions and descaling regularly. I would expect the machine to last longer than 3 years- especially as Nespresso makes more money from selling coffee than the coffee machines.

I love my coffee machine so much! When I first bought it years ago I would look forward to waking up every morning just to have an espresso. The machine makes the best coffee. I usually go for the smaller pods because I like mine strong. It’s been a great investment for me since I’m a coffee enthusiast

DO NOT BUY!!!
Bought a brand new nespresso 6 months ago.. it leaks almost every single time, throws error codes and has RUINED my brand NEW countertop. I’m so upset about this and would never buy anything nespresso again. Not to mention the cost is ridiculous. Save your money and buy ANYTHING else!

6+ Years With My Vertuo: Here’s Who It’s Perfect For
I owned my Nespresso Vertuo from November 2019 until January 2026, so this is definitely a long term review. For years, i loved how sleek and convenient it was. pick a pod, pop it in and within minutes i genuinely had a good cup of coffee. I think one thing worth mentioning is how long this powerful machine lasted me (it’s still fully functioning btw) it needed to be descaled occasionally but that was about it. i appreciated Nespresso’s recycling program and having a boutique close to home everything was straight forward and easy. this biggest consideration for me is the pod system itself. The capsules can get expensive if you’re drinking multiple times a day and/or multiple people drinking multiple cups throughout the day which also means you have to stay stocked up at all times. and collecting and returning the pods for recycling also does require some effort. after years of use, i eventually realized i wanted more control and flexibility than a pod based machine could offer. that said, if convenience and consistency are your priorities, i still think Vertuo is a great system. 6+ years of regular use from mine speaks for itself. it made having good coffee at home incredibly easy and served me well.

Cheap build quality compared to original Virtuo
Not as sturdy as the original Virtuo machine, feels cheap in comparison. Cup holder is very flimsy and has dropped out of the front of the machine whilst in use - could be dangerous. Otherwise it does what it should.

I have been using my nespresso vertuo for the past 6+ months and cant believe I waited this long to try it out. It is so quick and convenient. The coffee tastes amazing, and I love how you are able to customize your own coffee at home. The love utilizing the milk frother. I will add a couple of flavored syrup to the frothed milk to make my own flavored creamer.

Not long lasting
Had for years it was great until about 3/4 years in then starting leaking everywhere and the pods became very expensive. Taste was ok for a pod but went back to regular coffee maker and noticed a huge improvement in flavor.

Nice little splurge

No more cleaning French press or coffee maker after every use. My new machine works great, easy to use. People complain about the noise but it doesn’t bother me. The results are on point.

Worst model yet
I bought this to replace my 6+ year old machine because I wanted to be able to brew the larger coffee pod size. This design is by far the worst, to the point that I'm not sure what they were going for calling this a "new" model. - The open/close mechanism is difficult to use. Anyone with limited strength / mobility may struggle. - It's not tall enough for standard travel mugs. This is especially annoying since I bought it to make the larger brew size, but I can't fit a travel mug that fits that amount of coffee. - The bin for the used pods is very small, smaller than where it sits in the machine, so it overflows when you try to empty it. - It's incredibly loud. The first person to wake up and make coffee WILL wake up the entire house. - The water tank is smaller than earlier machines. Do NOT bother with this model. Despite being newer, it's a significantly worse design than earlier models.
