Received bulging cans — a serious safety hazard. These must be thrown away. Very frustrating to have paid for something unsafe and unusable.

The best dulce de leche! I use it as a filling for cakes, it's sturdy and stable.

Be VERY careful when you pick up your orders (in-store and/or delivery to your car). CHECK TO MAKE SURE YOUR ORDER IS CORRECT! Whoever packed my order at the Elmont store gave me only 2 cans of Nestle Dulce de Leche (I ordered 3) and took it upon themselves -- without asking me first -- to replace my 3rd can with Nestle Sweetened Condensed Milk (thank goodness I checked the bag). I told a Target employee and after looking for the correct item, he told me it was out of stock. Not asking me what I wanted to do, I had to tell him that I will need a refund. SMH...

The can was dented and should not have been given to me . I wouldn't have taken a dented can. Would you?

Hello! I got all cans dented, whoever put the cans into the box was really careless, unacceptable!

Best Dulce de leche, ideal as a stuffing for crepes

I make a homemade salted caramel coffee creamer with this. A can of La Lechera, tablespoon of vanilla extract, teaspoon of sea salt, mix on low, then add a pint of half and half. It lasts me a week and is perfect, since most store "creamers" are vegetable oil.

This now as of 2024 has “Bioengineered Ingredients”! I opened it but looked on the back before using it and had to throw it away!

I grew up eating this back in my country; Chile, and I’m so happy I can find this at target. We eat this with bread or use it for pastries like alfajores, cakes or panqueques yuuum! Please please please! have it in stock at the Alicia Parkway location cause it takes a while to arrive when you order it online.

This stuff is soooo good! Love that it’s made from real sugar and not high fructose corn syrup. Nothing artificial either. It’s so tasty.

I needed dulce de leche when I was traveling, bought this and now I will never go back to boiling my own cans. It's such a time saver, and you are getting the same result. Perfectly smooth. No sugar grains. Same taste and texture.

These cans suck! I’ve tried TWO DIFFERENT can openers to open them and I can’t ever get them open! I wasted about 4 cans of this stuff. Ridiculous!!

This is a very good dulce de leche. I'm from South America and it's hard to find it in the US at a decent price. This one is a great value and is very good (maybe not as good as what you'd find from South American brands, but for the price definitely one of your best options in the US). Unfortunately my local Target stores seem to have stopped stocking these since the pandemic started. I ordered them by mail, but they were not packed well (put in a box without any padding whatsoever) so the cans arrived deeply dented, with the seam damaged (food safety issue). Target, please can you restock them again in stores? Or at the very least tell your shipping staff to pack these securely with padding so they are not damaged in transit? PS. Stir a tablespoon of this into your coffee (with some milk if you like lattes) rather than sugar for amazing flavor and richness!

Thank you for having this Target! Only a true dulce de leche lover know this! Please have it always in stock. Tip 1: you need a can opener to open it. Tip 2: I open the can and put the content in my own beautiful jar with lid and keep it in the fridge.

best source I know in America for the national dessert of Argentina. Delicious and and inexpensive. you can pay triple what this costs for the same thing. Of course, in Argentina dulce de leche is even cheaper and better, but this is a pretty food approximation.

I needed this for a recipe but had to order it online. I waited for it to come so I could make my recipe. It worked very well and is delicious. I can't wait to make it again. I will order more next time!
