The first option would be to put your ISP Router/modem into Bridge Mode and then connect to this router, and the Second Option would be if your service supports a Direct to Ethernet connection. For both options, you would need to contact your ISP to see if your service supports adding a Router. Q: Can I use the router without the "Nighhawk app" (plug+play)? Can the "Nighthawk app" be used (downloaded+controlled) from the computer not a cell phone?

This router, even though it's a better router than I had, did not have a USB port so now I no longer have my network drive. So I'm a little disappointed with this router. Maybe I'll have to look for another router soon.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] So far the router has been great once we got it installed! The installation process was a little challenging which is why I didn't give it 5 stars. We had to install ourself and the app seemed straightforward but we kept getting error messages and had to restart the process multiple times which took a few hours. But now that it has been installed we have zero complaints with the router itself.

Since installing our new Netgear AX1800 (RAX10) router, we've had no dropped internet service and my wi-fi signal has been at full strength since installed a week ago. Very happy with this product.
