Fantastic Coverage and Reliability
So I got this mesh system to replace my router and repeater that were driving me nuts with reliability issues. This system works great! I'm getting 5g connections reliably whereas in the past, I only got that connection close to my router or repeater. I'd say the range of these is great! Also, of note, I don't see that the speed decreases when the signal is being received by the satellite unit. I get 120mbps five feet from the main unit, and I get that much connected to the satellite 20 feet away. Really remarkable! Oh, and this: it works great with a tv streaming video in one part of the house while several other items are also attached with no reliability issues. This is my favorite and best wifi system I've ever owned and I am literally in awe that I don't have to mess with wifi anymore - it's done! I just want to stare at the little white cubes and admire them.

Slow
Very slow and frequently drops connection. The app essentially doesn't work at all as it just says "failed to do x". It's been very frustrating.

Amazing coverage
Purchased this at beginning of week. Easy to set up. Replaced optimum router and extender which were terrible. I no longer have any dead spots and download speeds more than doubled.

HORRIBLE
Netgear puts out a product that blocks every website you try to get on (including their own customer service link!) and will not give any email or telephone support unless you "have your credit card ready." I've been at this for 2 days trying to fix, and I am literally in tears and my employer has lost patience with me and with Netgear. Thanks a lot Netgear. This needs to go to the garbage and I'll have to buy something else. Nightmare.

Setup was a nightmare
Get a great fast connection when near the router but have been trying to set up the satellites for hours and the router cannot find them. Will likely return this.

4k SQFT .... What a lie..
Purchased this product on July 17, 2020. Connected thought it went great until a few hours later it dropped signal. I had to mess with connecting disconnecting it trying to make it work. July 18, 2020 appears to work no problems all day, granted we were out most of the day.... July 19,2020 dropped signal yet again.. contacted support first person nice help tried a lot of things over 1.5-2 hours of time ended up getting told to contact tier 2 support. Called in, 1st time call got disconnected... 2nd time get a girl that was hard to understand tried like 3 things. maybe 15 mins and tells me oh you should upgrade to a new one this one looks like it won't work for your house...... I have a 2700 SQFT got the router & 2 satellites. I place router in front 1/3 of house in upstairs officer, 1 satellite in the 2/3 of home down stairs (middle of house), 2 satellite in the back 1/3. roughly 900 SQFT apart. Back of house signal on tv gets 1mbps if at all when I have 1000mbps internet. When you test the speeds close to router barely getting 400mbps but not consistently. What garbage you sell and advertise it to work for 3 stories 4k SQFT yet 2 stories 2700 SQFT it don't work.

Constantly looses connection!
Had this for a few weeks. We kept loosing connection, so we thought it was the ISP. after using the app to remotely access, it became obvious that the issues was with the WiFi signal.

Does not support Ethernet backhaul
Bough this kit specifically because I have a few underground eth lines to outbuildings, and I wanted a single mesh network for all of them. Unfortunately it does not do that, that feature came in with the 2nd generation (RBK2*). Great Price-point though.

5G channel switch
Hi, While I like the router and easy set up, I noticed my 5G channel is stuck in one of the poor channels and it is greyed out. Any suggestion to change the 5G channel? Appreciate your help.

Mesh is great
My 1980s house has great insulation, including a lovely kitchen with granite liberally in the only area my phone/router can come up from the basement. I have struggled with reception throughout the house until I found Orbi. This is my second system and it just keeps getting better. 150-200Kbps in all 3 floors (basement included) of the 4000 square foot home.

House full
I went from one user on my network to a house full. Changing to the Netgear as really stepped things up. Half my house had almost no signal and the speed was terrible with everyone trying to use it at once. We don’t have those issues anymore. I’m really glad by son recommended this.

Works great!
I live in a home that is over 100 years out with thick plastered walls. I tried many other products that failed. The Orbi fixed all my headaches. This device is awesome!

The app made it easy!
We were delighted that we could get our Orbi system up and running within minutes without any assistance. We downloaded the app and it walked us through the setup, step by step. We had our system working within minutes of taking it out of the box!

Excellent boost in coverage
My house was built in 1910 and the materials make it challenging to cover all parts of both stories and the back addition. I upgraded to an Orbi with three secondary units and now have five bar signal on every corner. Set up was easy and the units linked without any snags. Download speeds are very good, even in the periphery. Very happy with my choice
