I have purchased two of these. One for my brother, and one for my dad. They both love them and find them very easy to use. I like them as well. It is a great addition to my dad's life as he is getting older, and not so sharp with the use of technology. It is easy for him to be able to vocally tell this what he'd like it to do! It has great displays, and sound!!

As a tech enthusiast, the speakers on this small device have blown my mind. Fantastic bass and treble with simple controls are a great touch for the price. Recently changed to the Alexa ecosystem from Google Assistant, this is an excellent product for the price.

Even though I bought this on sale, I'm pretty torqued about it. I got it for several things but one is to use as an alarm. And although I'm sure some people want to hear Tate McCrae 'Greedy'in the morning, I do not. I've tried listening and liking dozens of songs not remotely like the aforementioned song and every morning, like clockwork, "Greedy" plays and no instructions are included to change that and Alexa doesn't 'understand' "Don't play Tate McCrae." Also, if you want to hear a mix, you can't give an artist name. How idiotic is that? I asked for Joy Oladukon and Alexa did the "We'll mix in artists similar to..." and I got 10 Joy Oladukon songs in a row. I enjoy her songs, but I wanted a mix. This thing was made by lazy or incompetent people without any thought to the customer.

If you're setting up your Amazon Alexa Echo Show 5 to use as an alarm you'll want to set your default music service. If you haven't set this up yet, follow these steps: 1. Open the Alexa app. 2. Navigate to the menu. 3. Tap settings. 4. Click on Music & Podcasts. 5. Look for Default Services. 6. Choose the service you want to use and select Done. When you choose a default music service, Alexa will always use it to play your music for alarms, streaming stations, and requests. Once this is complete, you can be specific with the music you want to wake up to and the days/times you want the alarm to go off. You can even have the alarm rotate through a playlist you've created on your default music streaming service. Simply ask "Alexa, wake me up to pop music every day at 7 AM". If you are still having issues with the functionality of the Echo Show 5, Amazon Customer service is available 24/7 for assistance on the device. You can reach them at 1-888-280-4331.
