    Connection and speed lack

Works fine if you just want to watch a show or two at the same time but often wont connect with the mobile APP and just makes it not a great pick for what I was looking for.

    Good Router

I purchased a new NETGEAR router as part of a trouble shooting process when my WiFi stopped working. It turned out to be a firmware issue with my new modem. I planned to use the new/updated router anyway. But it would not connect to everything. So I reinstalled my AX6000, and it works seamlessly with the new modem.

    Overlooked powerhouse

This is a very good router/WIFI unit. I use it as a whole home wired system for my satellite and TVs without any problems and signal. The WIFI also gives me a strong signal for laptop and gaming systems.

    NIGHTHAWK PERFORMANCE EXCELLENT

The Nighthawk RAX80 has performed without any complications. I am very satisfied with this product. The only problem I have experienced has been with my internet provider. But the Nighthawk WiFi Router has been great.

    Absolutely worth it!

Been using this for a week and have significantly noticed a much better quality in my Wi-Fi connection. I’ve gotten no lag when gaming on multiple platforms simultaneously. PC, Xbox, Switch, and wife on her laptop while streaming movies on tv. No Lag. The Nighthawk handles multiple devices with ease and no sweat.

    Extensive Review After 1 Week

Review: Netgear NightHawk AX8 Wifi 6 Router After enduring six months of frustrating connectivity issues with my smart home devices on Spectrum's 1 GB internet package, I took the plunge and switched to the Netgear NightHawk AX8 Wifi 6 router. The journey from constant troubleshooting—spanning calls to Sonos, Google, and Spectrum, to deep dives into forums like Reddit and X—revealed a common culprit: ISP-provided routers often falter with complex smart home setups. Choosing the NightHawk AX8 was influenced by its stellar reviews, robust specifications, and tales of similar woes it resolved. The router didn't just meet my expectations; it exceeded them, rectifying the connectivity chaos but also imparting a few crucial insights: Smart Connect Caution: The router's Smart Connect feature, designed to streamline device band allocation, proved a mixed blessing. While it promises convenience, it can disrupt setups with numerous devices (e.g., my 10 Sonos speakers), necessitating manual band selection to ensure seamless operation. Speed Distribution: On Spectrum's 1GB speed, the NightHawk's performance is nuanced. The standard band delivers around 200mbps—sufficient for basic smart devices—while the 5G band impressively hits the 1GB mark, ideal for high-demand devices like computers and smartphones.
