I have been using Petal for years. I buy other lipsticks and have been disappointed. always come back to petal. I keep it everwhere—bathrooms, purse, and gym bag. Please dont ever discontinue this line!

I had the original one that came in a black tube. This current version is inferior to the original. They changed the formula and it’s a much softer stick so it’s waxier on the lips and gets smushed on the tube. The main reason I get this product is I wanted a tinted SPF balm. The color is good but do not like the consistency changes. It will probably make me use up the tube faster now. If I didn’t have the original to compare it to, I might have felt differently about it.

I’vI’ve been buying this product for years and was really DISAPPOINTED When I opened the package that had the same shade color name, but a new formula that doesn’t even match the old shade. If you get the tiniest bit on your tongue, it taste so strong of sunscreen also. Seriously, so terrible and frustrating. WHY try to improve something that’s already perfect and has worked for years?!

I have been using NeutrogeNa revitalizing lip balm Sunny Berry for many years. This new lip balm is not the same. The color is dull, it leaves a metalic taste in your mouth and my lips get dry. Please bring back the good ole product that works and is beautiful on my lips.

I have used the sheer shimmer in the black encasement for many many years and I too cannot atand the new version in the pink container. It leaves an awful taste in my mouth. I bought 4 and will end up throwing them out because it is that intolerable. Please bring back the old version!

I have been using these sheer lip balms for years. I purchased one last week that came with the new packaging. I am so disappointed! The new formula has a taste and odor. These lip balms used to be great-good colors, smooth application, spf 20 and no scent or taste. Please bring back the old formula! I’m going to need to look for a new go to lip balm. 😔

One of my favorite lip products!! I love how smooth it goes on and gives my lips a nice glow without feeling sticky. The packaging is super cute and easy to open unlike other products lol. It has a nice scent to it, and I love that it gives my lips a nice tint. Love the fact that it protects my lips from the sun because I’m ALWAYS outside with the kids.

Just realized the formula has changed and bought the new one. Its terrible!! Leaves an awful taste and smell! I don’t want to TASTE chemicals. Please change this back to the old formula i have used this forever and it was perfect! Now ill never use this again and have to find a new go to daily lip moisture.

Please bring back old formula! It is all i use for the past 20 years! New formula color change and taste is awful! Don't fix something that is not broken. I buy at least 10 of these a year but will be forced to find an alternative and give my business to a competitor. It was the best lip tint on the market now it is unbearable. Leaves metal taste in mouth and color sucks. Please please change it back!

I like that this lip balm has a tinted sheen when applied. It goes on smoothly and doesn’t dry your lips, but I would say it requires multiple application and it fades pretty quickly and gets absorbed by your lips. There’s not much of a scent which I don’t know if i like or not yet. I do like that there is SPF and protects your lips which isn’t common for most lip products.
