The sheer sunscreen serum from a dermatologist-recommended brand leaves skin feeling soft and smooth--and serves double duty as a makeup primer. It's water-resistant for up to 80 minutes, and the fragrance-free formula is both oxybenzone-free and non-comedogenic. In addition to preventing sunburn, when used as directed with other sun-protection methods, Neutrogena Ultra Sheer Face Serum sunscreen decreases the risk of skin cancer and early skin aging caused by the sun. Apply liberally 15 minutes before sun exposure, and reapply after 80 minutes of swimming or sweating, immediately after towel-drying, and at least every two hours. For children under 6 months of age, ask their doctor about sunscreen use.

This burnt my eyes and made them water non stop. I tried it multiple times but every time my eyes would water and sting. It’s unfortunate because I really liked how it felt on my skin and it was lightweight but my eyes could not handle it.

i have only been using korean sunscreen as they're the ones to for sure not leave a white cast but neutrogena really came through with the ultra sheer formula. it disappears into the skin, doesn't feel greasy at all and my skin didn't break out so yay!

The best sunscreen I've tried so far. Honestly, I'm impressed with the price and quality. The first thing is that it's not greasy, but it leaves your skin with a shine. OMG! It moisturizes just by putting a little on your face, and it also contains antioxidant vitamins.

I really liked the texture and how this sunscreen was truly sheer. Unfortunately it burned my eyes every time I wore it. I was incredibly careful with the application and made sure it wasn't applied near my eyes but each time I wore it my eyes burned and watered all day.

Formula changed?? I adored this serum like a passion, especially for being an American sunscreen. It was a dream to put on. Now it pills up like crazy even with one even application. It must be the silicones or simply it was reformulated. Regardless, better off searching for the next sunscreen.

I was hoping this would be a serum I could use under makeup, but I didn’t see that it’s water resistant (which means it will be sticky and not good for daily use unless you’re outside sweating at work all day). It’s also quite runny and has that distinct sunscreen smell. So not mineral based. It will likely stain white clothes too. It’s going back and I’ll probably have to invest again in my more expensive but reliable daily sunscreen.
